Indian Railway Catering and

Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)
is an Indian public sector
undertaking that provides
ticketing, catering, and
tourism services for the
Indian Railways
On long weekends, the passenger will travel on Thursday
or Friday to get a return by Monday as the travel duration
is at least 10 hours
There is no price fluctuation from Saturday to
Tuesday/Wednesday as per the data
As per the data, we can see the price fluctuation is not
seen in the upcoming months
Train Travel is Subsidised by the government whereas Bus
travel is not Subsidised by the Government
The Bus Travel cost more is due to its consumption of
Crude Oil like Petrol & Diesel whereas The Train Travel
is usually Electrically driven in India
Bus Owners pay more State, Road, and Toll Taxes and the
capacity of freight or good is low whereas the Indian
Railway generates profit and saves taxes by transporting
heavy freight or goods
