Lumbini Sanskritik is a Municipality, which is located in Rupandehi district, Province No. 5 of Nepal. Lumbini Sanskritik has total 13 wards, which are scattered
across 112 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality
had total population of 72,497.

WARDWISE POPULATION AND HOUSEHOLDS

As per 2011 population census, Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality had total 72,497 population with 36,137 males and 36,360 females. Out of total wards, ward
×number 11 had the largest population 8,155, while ward number 8 had least number of population with 8,155.
With respect to number of households, Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality had total 9,946 households. The ward number 11 had most households with total
1,135, while ward number 8 had least number of households with total 454 number of households.

As illustrated in the chart, the ratio of male to female population was 0.99, which indicates that Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality had 1 percent lower males as
compared to the females. Same as, the population to household ratio was 7.29, which means that in average 7.29 family members lived in each household.
ABSENTEE POPULATION
As of 2011, 4,215 population in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality were absent from their households, which equals to 5.81 percent of the total population.
Absence of males was 4,103, which equals to 11.35 percent of total 36,137 males. Same as, 112 females were absent, which equals to 0.31 percent of 36,360

POPULATION BY AGE GROUP

In terms of age, the largest population in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality were between 5 and 9 years of age with total 10,605. However, gender wise largest
population age group differs from the total population, such as largest male population falls between 5 and 9 with total 5,461 while female population falls
between 10 and 14 with total 5,153 population. The least populated age group was above 75 with total 1,062 population, which consistes of 581 males and 481
females. Top 5 most populated age groups were between 5 and 9 (10,605), between 10 and 14 (10,510), below 4 (8,843), between 15 and 19 (7,787), between 20
and 24 (5,625) with total population of 43,370. In contrast, bottom 5 least populated age groups were above 75 (1,062), between 70 and 74 (1,115), between 65
and 69 (1,589), between 60 and 64 (1,820), and between 55 and 59 (2,053) with total population of 7,639. The median age-group of total population falls
between 35 and 39 and between 40 and 44 with average population of 3,555.

Gender wise, top 5 most age groups male population were between 5 and 9 (5,461), between 10 and 14 (5,357), below 4 (4,535), between 15 and 19 (4,090), and
between 20 and 24 (2,446), with total population of 21,889. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were between 70 and 74 (572), above 75
(581), between 65 and 69 (857),between 60 and 64 (956), and between 55 and 59 (1,068), with total population of 4,034. With regards to female population,
top 5 age groups females were between 10 and 14 (5,153), between 5 and 9 (5,144), below 4 (4,308), between 15 and 19 (3,697), and between 20 and 24 (3,179),
with total population of 21,481. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were above 75 (481), between 70 and 74 (543), between 65 and 69
(732),between 60 and 64 (864), and between 55 and 59 (985), with total population of 3,605.
The population with age-group above 75 had male to female ratio of 1.21, which states that this age group had maximum males as compared to females.
Similarly, age-group 30 to 34 had most female population as compared to male population with male to female ratio of 0.76. The age-groups above 75, 65 to
69, 15 to 19, 45 to 49, 60 to 64, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 5 to 9, below 4, 70 to 74, 10 to 14 had majority of male population while age-groups 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 25 to
29, 20 to 24, 30 to 34 had majority of female population as per male-female ratios. Moreover, age-groups had eqivalent or almost equal numbers of male and
female population with male-female ratios of 1.

POPULATION RATIOS
As illustrated in the pie-chart, overall ratio of male to female population in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality as per 2011 population census was 0.99 with
49.85% (36,137) of males and 50.15% (36,360) of females.

There were 53.48 % (38,773 ) of independent population, the working age people between ages of 15 and 64 years. The dependent children, ages below 15
years, were 41.32 % with total number of 29,958. The dependent elderly population, aged 65 and above were 5.19 % with total number of 3,766. As such, total
dependent population including children and elderly people were 46.52 with total number of 33,724
There were 17,098 women of child-bearing age-group of 15 to 49 years. Same as, the todlers or children of 4 years or below were 8,843. The ratio of woman of
child-bearing age and the number of todlers state that, approximately 517 children were born per 1,000 women. This number is also roughly used as fertility
levels when direct measures of births are not available.
LITERACY, EDUCATION LEVELS & SCHOOLING

There were only 34,154 people fully literate in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 2,834 people were able to
read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female
literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.

Out of total 18,390 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality, total 10,225 males and 8,165 females were attending
the school. Same as, out of total 15,443 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 6,646 male and 8,797 female were not
attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 1.25 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.76.The
CBS census also states that 513 males and 619 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.
GRADE 1-12 STUDENTS & SCHOOLS

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 17,505 in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality with 8,530 (48.73%) of males and 8,975
(51.27%) females. There were total 79 schools. In average, 222 students were studying in each school.

POPULATION BY LANGUAGE SPOKEN

Mostly spoken language in Lumbini Sanskritik is Bhojpuri, which is spoken by 32,803 people. The Lumbini Sanskritik has people who speak other languages,
such as Avadhi, Urdu, Maithili, Nepali, Magar, Doteli, Rai, Uranw/Urau, Newar, Hindi, Gurung, Sherpa, etc.

POPULATION BY CASTES
According to 2011 census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality was inhabitted by mostly the people of Muslim
caste with total population of 23,568. There were as little as Dhanuk caste with population of as little as 11 in total. People of several other castes who live in
Lumbini Sanskritik are Yadav, Lodh, Chamar/Harijan/Ram, Kahar, Kurmi, Brahmin - Hill, Dhobi, Dusadh/Pasawan/Pasi, Teli, Magar, Kathbaniyan, Mallaha,
Tharu, Baraee, Lohar, Kalwar, Hajam/Thakur, Haluwai, Kayastha, Kewat, Chhetri, Terai Others, Brahmin - Tarai, Koiri/Kushwaha, Sanyasi/Dashnami,
Foreigner, Kami, Badhaee, Dhandi, Sonar, Dhunia, Bangali, Damai/Dholi, Gaderi/Bhedhar, Marwadi, Newar, Natuwa, Rai, Mali, Jhangad/Dhagar, Gurung,
Dhankar/Kharikar, Dalit Others, Gharti/Bhujel, Rajdhob, Rajput, Pattharkatta/Kushwadiya, Sherpa, Sarki, Kori, Tamang, Majhi, Dhanuk, etc. Only the
population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Top five castes of people in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality are Muslim (23,568), Yadav (9,816), Lodh (5,732), Chamar/Harijan/Ram (4,569) and Kahar
(3,773) with total population of 47,458, which forms 65.46 percent out of total population of 72,497 in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality.
POPULATION BY DISABILITY
Out of total population of 72,497, there were total 498 (0.69%) disabled persons in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality with 282 (56.63%) males and 216
(43.37%) females. The physically disabled persons were 211, while mentally disabled people were 54 and intellectually disabled were 13.

Similarly, there were 84 people who were blind and 37 people were deaf, while 5 people were both blind and deaf. Moreover, 48 persons had reported of having
speech problems. Total 46 people had multiple disabilities.

HOUSEHOLD FOUNDATION
Out of total 9946 households in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality, there were 5,610 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 2,986 houses were cement
bonded. Same as, 149 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 387houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 4,525 houses were mud bonded, 4,010 houses were cement bonded, 66 houses were wood planks bonded, 386 houses were
bamboo bonded and 198 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of
them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 1,298 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 288 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly,
1,201 houses had roof of tile, 6,952 houses had RCC roofs, 21 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS
census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.
With respect to the toilets, 7,838 out of 9,946 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 995 houses were reported of
having flush toilet while 1,002 houses reported having ordinary toilets.
UTILITIES
In Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality, there were total 1,986 houses, which were equiped with piped tap water resources while 7,488 houses were reported of
having tubewell water facilities. Same as, 11 houses had covered well while 29 houses didn't have any cover on their tubewell. Other resources of water facilities
were spout water (7) and river stream (0), which were reported of the household's source of water.

With reference to source of fuel, 983 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 126 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas
was used by 443 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (8,222), bio-gas (41), fuel electricity (1), etc.
Same as, total 5,830 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of
light were 3,884, while 34 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of
use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.59.
FACILITIES
out of 9,946 households in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality, 559 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 9,141 households reported
of using at least one facility. Households using at least one facility, such as radio, television, internet, etc. have been illustrated in the table below.Bicycle was
used by the maximum households with total users of 8,381, while MobilePhone was the next mostly used facilities with total household users of 6,004.

According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 1,958 establishments in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality that are involved in various economic activities.
In those establishments, total 4,868 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 4,049
and female engagement of 819 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.49 people engaged with average males are 2.07 and females are 0.42. The
ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 4.94, which means as many as 4.94 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
