Christmas

Christmas was established on December 25 as a day of solemnity by

the

Catholic Church in the year 350 thanks to Pope Julius. This religious

holiday is celebrated every year.

Weeks before Christmas, we decorate our house with various Christmas

decorations, first we decorate the walls with garlands, reindeer, gifts,
rindir
stars, ribbons;then, we put together the nativity scene with some
natural

resources;next, we assemble the Christmas tree; finally, we put in
yellow

and white Christmas lights.
I spend it this day with all my family. Usually, the children use Santa
Claus hats, but we don´t. We watch Christmas movies, and so do my
family. My husband is the grinch of my family, but he helps to
decorate our house.
On this day, first we always wake up early and we have breakfast
together at 7 o’clock. Next, we go to the market to make the
purchases

of the day. My mom prepares lunch for the whole family, while we
organize the ingredients for the Christmas dinner.

In the afternoon, we are going to buy some freshly baked snacks at
the market. Then, we bake the turkey, prepare the salad, etc. While
we fix the dinning room, and we preparate chocolate.
Finally, minutes before midnight we prepare the fireworks and we
always do the respective count. The sky of my city lights up with
fireworks of different colors, it is a great celebration, after this we
have dinner and we always give some gifts.
