Qualitative analysis:

Familial attitude:

A client’s response about the mother was very reasonable as she called her true love. Also, she
view her father as a home. Also, she enjoy sometimes with them.

Social and sexual attitude:

Item number (5) “I regret...to be a girl” shows her not satisfactory attitude towards her gender
role. She says that men and women are social creatures but sometimes they are judgmental as
mentioned in (10). “People…are social animals and judgmental” “. Also, she sees herself as
aloof and extra person in this society and world. (12) “I feel… like an extra person in this
world”. She also mentioned in (19) that “other people… are friendly sometimes. Her attitude
towards marriage was very negative as she said in (26) “marriage… is a nightmare”. She is
annoyed by peoples’s general attitude of being judgmental (9). She felt insecure in her
childhood. (14) (17).

General attitude:

Client seems to have interest in reading (22) “reading… is a good pass time”. She don’t like
sports at all. (16) “Sports…annoys me”. She like dancing as she mentioned in (38) “dancing… is
fun sometimes”. She don’t feel happy (2)(32). She don’t enjoy proper sleep and her patterns are
disturbed.(6)(20).

Character traits:

Hopelessness (28) in client seem to be characterized by high levels of Neuroticism. Introvert trait
can be predicted in the statement (27) “I am best when… I am alone”.

Summary:

The client is not satisfied with her gender role and have many complications regarding her
future, interpersonal relationships. She had disturbed patterns of sleep and she is always worried
about her future.

HFD:

Qualitative interpretation
Hair on female indicates Regression.

Hair emphasis with heavy shading shows Anxiety over sexual needs possibly

Head clearly indicated specifies Feeling of anxiety or of inferiority relative to body functions

Nostrils shows Primitive aggression.

Single-line mouth indicates Passive-aggressive (oral aggressive).

Neck omission shows Immaturity, Lack of impulse control and Regression.

Shoulders drooping indicates Dejection, Guilt and lack of drive energy and vitality.

Buttons shows Immaturity

Large arms shows Assaultiveness and guilt.

Arms long shows Ambition for accomplishment or acquisition.

Short fingers indicates Anxiety.

Shaded fingers shows guilt.

Legs long indicates need for autonomy.

Shoes shaded shows insecurity.

Use of Erasures shows Anxiety, Conflict area and Indecisiveness.
