I went from hating math to adoring it

I've loathed math since I was in elementary school. My focus is diverted from my
teacher during a math session, and I grow drowsy. I am not doing my homework. I always
copy my friend's responses. I have the same experience as the main character in the story
because I went through the same things she did. Just as she used to despise math, I used
to despise it as well.

Every time we have a math assignment, me and my friends copy the answers of my
classmates, and one of our classmates became enraged because we always copied and
didn't do our part of the assignment, so she told our teacher that we copied the answers
of our classmates, and the teacher decided to call our parents to tell them what I did,
what we did, and what we didn't do. After that, my nanay (mother) wants to talk to me,
and I was terrified at the time because I knew I had done something wrong. We talked
about what I did, and she asked me why I did it, and I honestly answered her question,
telling her that it's not that I dislike school, but I dislike math because I can't
understand the lessons that my teacher discussed. After that talk between me and my
mother, I talk to my friends and tell them that we need to do something and that is we
need to assignments in math and etc.

I've come to certain conclusions based on my experiences. One is that I must enjoy math
because it is present everywhere and is quite important in college, particularly now that I
am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information and Technology degree. Math is the most
difficult subject in this course for me, yet it is also the most vital element in this course.
So, because math is useful, everyone should enjoy it.
