Freitas, 33, has played in nine organizations since being drafted by the Wash- ington Nationals in 2010. “He’s such a good dude,” RailRiders designated hitter Phillip Evans told Scranton’s Times Tribune, “It's hard to see anyone go, especially guys that you've played with and against .. your whole career.” In 125 major league at-bats across three seasons, Freitas has 25 hits (200), one home run, 13 runs and eight RBIs. In the minors, Freitas has 78 homers in 2,974 at-bats, with a .285 batting average and an .803 OPS.
