 WOBBLER FEEDERS
Wobbler Feeders provide
two functions in one
unit: feeding material at a
controlled rate, and scalping out
the fines from the feed material.
These feeders are especially
good with wet, sticky materials
where fines need to be scalped
or are stuck to larger lumps.

Application of Wobbler Feeder

Wobbler Feeder is used in aggregate and mining applications to sort the
run-of-mine material before the primary crusher. This scalping of the feed
reduces unnecessary wear on the primary crusher. Since scalping the feed
reduces the amount of material going into the primary crusher, it also reduces the
required size and capacity of the crusher needed. Depending on the application,
they can be fed by an apron feeder or directly via trucks or loaders. They can
also be used in secondary applications to separate already crushed feed
material. Wobbler Feeder is available as a one or multi-stage device. Due to a
modularization of the wobbler feeder length almost any sizes of separation
surfaces may be realized. Plants of this type are suited for different operations in
limestone, clay stone, coal, natural stone, salt, gypsum and other materials.

Materials Used in Wobbler Feeder

The Wobbler Feeder consists of a frame, triangular bars and a chain drive
system used to rotate the bars. The transmission is driven by an electric motor, a
reduction gear unit and a series of chains with oil bath lubrication. The drive
system connects all the bars with a single or double strand chain that attaches to
sprockets on each bar. This maintains the gap, or opening, between the bars at
the same dimension throughout the bar rotation. The triangular or circular shafts
with self-cleaning disc rotate synchronously to each other and fine materials,
sludge fragments and waste materials that are not required to enter the main
crusher fall down through the opening defined in the design by gravity.
How are Wobbler Feeders Made?
Wobbler Feeders provide two functions: they feed large material at a
regulated pace and they scalp out the lines from the supplied material. Football-
shaped elliptical bars are timed with a continuous triple strand roller chain drive
and timed bar sprockets to achieve this. Each elliptical bar is separated by 90
degrees, with one bar tip up and the next bar turned with the tip horizontal. All of
the bars spin at the same pace, and the loaded material is moved along the bars
until it is ejected from the Wobbler. Each bar is kept with a predetermined space
between them, allowing fines to flow through and provide the undersized scalped
material.

 BAG SILOS
Silo bags are a key hermetic
storage technology that
reduces post-harvest losses
while providing an economic
alternative for farmers to gain
control over marketing their
stored grain between crop
harvests. Silo bags consist of
three layers of polyethylene totaling 250 microns thick.

Application of Bag Silos

The silo bags are also very helpful in the maintenance of the of the overall
moisture content in the bags at the time of storage when an air tight or hermetic
environment is maintained. The silo bags are just ideal for this purpose of storing
different types of food products in a safe manner. The storage of food products
requires a proper bag since the maintenance of quality is of utmost importance in
this regard.

o Storage of Grains

The silo bags are undoubtedly the best option at the time when it comes to
storage of grains since they are able to store the grains in the best possible
manner. When a large volume of grain is stored in these bags and a tight sealing
is done, these bags are completely water proof and at the same time have a high
degree of gas tightness to carbon dioxide and oxygen. This is of a great benefit
in storing the grains without hampering the quality of the grains.

o Fruit Storage
The silo bags are also extremely capable of storing fruits in a perfect manner
without hampering their quality thereby keeping the quality of the fruits intact
during the period of storage. Adequate care needs to be taken that the bags are
properly sealed after storing and it is to be made a point that there is no
accumulation of water during storage.
o Storing of Forages
The storing of forage is another of the vital application of the silo bags. The
forage to be at their best required anaerobic storage and this is exactly where the
silo bags come to the rescue of the users. The chopped forages are ideally
stored in the properly sealed silo bags without oxygen coming in the contact of
oxygen thereby preserving their quality.
o Storage of Food Products
The storage of food products requires a proper bag since the maintenance of
quality is of utmost importance in this regard. The silo bags are also very helpful
in the maintenance of the of the overall moisture content in the bags at the time
of storage when an air tight or hermetic environment is maintained. The silo bags
are just ideal for this purpose of storing different types of food products in a safe
manner.
Materials Used in Bag Silos

Silo bags are actually bags made up of polyethene and hence popularly

referred to as polyethene bags as well. These bags are made up of three layers
of polyethylene which provides a total thickness of 250 microns. The outer layer
of the bag is usually white in color so as to reflect solar radiation. On the other
hand, the inner layer of the bag is black in color so as to block sunlight. The silo
bags basically serve great purpose of effective storage thereby finding a wide
range of applications. These bags are usually about sixty meters in length and
about three meters in diameter which enable the bags to store a huge volume of
the intended products. There are smaller bags also available at the time when
the storage requirement is on the lesser side.

How are Bag Silos Made?

Blown extruded method with seven layers of diverse polymers is used to

create this product.

Obtain the top quality Silo Bags (polyethylene) of 180-250 micron.

• The outside layer is white with a UV protecting covering, while the inner layer is
in touch with the skin. The grain of the wood is black.

• Diameters of 5-12 feet and lengths of 60m, 75m, 90m, 120m, or beyond are
possible.

• Each bag is folded automatically using a folding machine.
