The aforementioned grant is funded to achieve the following objectives;

i) To transfer the technology of producing rubber-based dampers to the industry leading to the mass
production of a high performance and cost effective vibration control device
ii) To coach the industry in performing quality assessment for the rubber-based damper in order to
obtain certificate of quality
iii) To assist the industry for pre-commercialization and promotion phase of the rubber-based dampers
