General Instructions:
• This paper has 3 pages.
• This question paper comprises three sections – A, B and C.
• There are 8 questions in the question paper. All questions are compulsory.
• There is no overall choice in the question paper. However, an internal choice has been
provided for some questions. Only one of the choices in such questions has to be
attempted. • Section A – Q. no. 1 to 4 are short answer type questions, carrying 3
marks each. Answer to each question should not exceed 80 words.
• Section B – Q. no. 5 to 7 are long answer type questions, carrying 5 marks each.
Answer to each question should not exceed 120 words.
• Section C – Q. no. 8 is map-based question, carrying 3 marks with two parts, 8.A from
History for 1 mark and 8.B from Geography for 2 marks.
• Answers should be brief and to the point; also the above word limit be adhered to as
far as possible.
• Map should be attached to the answer sheet.
