All the course content of this program SEAMEO
INNOTECH FLEXIBLE Learning Course are very
essential and very timely in enhancing my competencies
as a 21st century teacher. This course really help me in
revisiting and reviewing of the teaching strategies which I
can share and impart to my learners' in order for them to
become prepared, competent and competitive 21st
century learners. This course is timely because it will help
me a lot for the coming school year especially coping
with
the new trend which is the new normal way of
giving education to my learners' especially the
digital literacy (Information and ICT knowledge) as well
as the media literacy.
"We cannot give what we do not have". A very common
quotation for a teacher to ponder because most of our
learners depends on us, therefore we must always be
prepared and knowledgeable for our learners' sake. Being
a teacher may require passion and love of profession
since we are dealing with students with different
backgrounds, beliefs and culture. We are now teaching in
the modern world were technology is vital, a teacher must
always possess a positive attitude toward works and
learners' diversity. We must possess and understand the
critical attributes of the teacher for us to integrate in our
teaching. As a teacher, we must equip ourselves with
knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values of the 21st century
which we can pass on to our students in helping them to
face different challenges of this time and for the years to
come.
The UNESCO's pillars of learning, it is a continuous
building of skills and knowledge throughout the life of an
individual. As a teacher it is our obligation to create
a school environment that respects, accepts and
understand cultural diversity. We must become
“Teacher of Peace". We must develop an attitude
of adaptability, working effectively even if you
happen to face new situations, environments and
priorities. The use of ICT inside the classroom is a
contact with our colleagues and other staff that we
may get along to maintain good relationship so that
we can work together for the benefit of everybody.
We must value honesty, if we don't know the answer to

honest and tell them that we will the answer by the next
meeting. We must be open to accept suggestions and
correction from other in order for us to improve and be
better. We must value kindness, that is contagious,
helping others without expecting for return. When we are
kind to one another, we work better together.
Challenges or difficulties makes us strong in pursuing our
goals. In this course the challenges and difficulties that
I've encountered during the course is:
a. Poor internet connection especially during
chat sessions.
Despite of this experiences I become more
motivated to work hard to finish this course.
The areas related to 21st century teaching and
learning that I need to improve is the use of ICT. I
am already doing and applying it but I need to
learn more, discover and explore its uses and
application by engaging myself in seminars and
trainings as well as seek help from my colleagues
who are knowledgeable about ICT. I want to improve on
my communication, so that I can give my students
feedbacks and for us to understand each other better. I
want also to improve also my teaching strategies by
integrating higher order thinking in my lessons for
students to think critically.
I would like to express my warmest thanksgiving and
congratulations to the people behind this course. Chat
sessions done successfully with the help of our amazing

FLT Dr. Ram Bermudez. Sir Ram, thank you for the
time and ideas shared to us, for us to become
effective, productive and successful 21st century
educators as well as for the care and advised
imparted to us. I know my expression of thanks will
not be enough but rest assured that you will always
be remembered for the kindness you had shown
as well as my prevent prayers that God will bless
you more with abundance and good health
together with your family.
Course requirements are very useful wherein you can
explore and go beyond your ideas knowing that
preparation will lead us in implementing those Personal
 Life Learning Plan, Professional Development Plan and
Classroom Management Plan. Online class is an effective
tool in enhancing our strategies in teaching especially we
will be embracing the new normal education for this
coming school year. To my fellow FLs coming from
different schools and
Division, thank you for the moments, thoughts, ideas and
unforgettable experiences we had shared even for a short
span of time during our chat sessions. Thank you and
