I. Basic Information
A. Title
PROJECT SaNa (SANITARY NAPKIN)
B. Objectives
This activity aims:
 To help young adolescents ( girls) to observe menstrual hygiene.
 To inform the importance of social support to learners.
 To help them the proper way of disposing their Sanitary Napkins
C. Program Management
Young girls from the Grade 7 are the target recipients of PROJECT SaNa. They are
on the stage transitioning from childhood to young adolescents where they encounter
various experiences where assistance of parents, guardians, elders as well as
teachers is crucial. Such experiences affect what they think, feel and act. Thus, correct
information will not lead them to anxiety or stress that may affect them while learning at
home thru modular distance learning.

Face-to-face distribution of food packs to the parents during the distribution and retrieval of

II. Narrative Report


A. Introduction/Rationale
Menstrual Hygiene Day is very important celebration for every young girls and women
it raises awareness of the importance of menstrual hygiene for women. This year’s in
the new normal is not the usual way of preparation because of restrictions to minimize
the spread of COVID-19. But still, the bayanihan efforts of parents, teachers,
stakeholders and the community as well were practiced with the different programs in
order to meet the common-shared goal and top priority which is for the welfare of
learners specially for our young girls.
In support for this activity, all the teaching and non-teaching personnel of San
Carlos San Luis National High School initiated a program to help young adolescents
especially the girls age ranging from 11-13 who experience different changes and
development physically, physiologically and mentally to have a grasp on the
importance of dealing well with it.
Project SaNa aims to make young adolescents practice menstrual hygiene to
be safe and healthy. In partnership with the parents, they will feel free and comfortable
to ask the guidance of the parents and guardians that what they are experiencing is
part of growing up.

Project SaNa aims to make young adolescents practice menstrual hygiene to

experiencing is part of growing up.
