1: Introduction
The ten types of innovation provide a simple organizational system for innovation, make innovation
easier and more effective, and exponentially increase the success.
What is Configuration
The ten types of innovation are divided into three categories. The one on the left is the type furthest
away from the customer, while the one on the right is the part that the customer perceives. Configuration
refers to the system framework behind the innovation, which includes four parts: Profit model, Network,
structure and process.

Definition
Structure innovation focuses on organising a company's hard, human and soft
assets in a unique way which creates value. Structure innovation include
everything from good human resource management systems to heavy
equipment and facilities. They can also improve the fixed costs and corporate
functions of a company, such as the HR department, the R&D department or the
IT department. Ideally, such innovations can attract talent to an organisation by
providing a productive work environment and high performance that competitors
cannot match.
