8 Assembling the pressure seal bonnet

8.1 Pressure seal bonnet (valve size 90-125)

Slotted nut

Retainer

Segment ring

Spacer ring
Gasket
Pressure seal

1. Mount the pressure seal gasket (in some cases 2 gaskets). Make sure to get the right side down.
Easily push the gasket in place without damaging the gasket.
2. Mount the spacer ring. Easily push the spacer ring in place without damaging the spacer ring. The
spacer ring should be mounted so that the top surface is just beneath the plane surface of the plug.
3. Assemble the segment ring (see 8.3 Assembling the segment ring).
4. Mount the retainer (see 8.4 Assembling the retainer).
5. Mount and tighten the slotted nut.
