SELF ASSESSMENT 1, 2 & 3

SELF ASSESSMENT 1
The Manunggul Jar was discovered in the early 1960’s in Manunggul Cave,
Palawan. This burial jar features Curvelinear designs and is painted with Hematite and
Iron. The lid of the jar features two human figures with arms crossed on the chest
representing the traditional practice of the corps riding a boat. This artifact signifies the
belief of the early Filipinos in the Afterlife.
The Manunggul Jar is a National Treasure of the Philippines. The jar was found in
the chamber of the Tabon Cave, one of the Manunggul caves in Palawan. The jar is found
from about 2800 years before the present. It was found by Robert Fox and Miguel
Santiago.

SELF ASSESSMENT 2

Dasalan at Tocsohon Cathechism

Ang Sampung Utos ng Prayle The Ten Commandments

Ang Tanda Sign of the Cross
Pagsisisi Confiteor
Ang Aba Guinoong Barya Hail, Holy Queen
Mock Moral

CONCLUSION:
The writing of Dasalan and Tocsohan by Del Pilar is to expose the reality of friar
corruption. Their power was used to satisfy their greed rather than to lead. So, I
conclude that he mocked each cathecnism as a wake-up call that what was written
there was far from what they were actually doing.
