Semi-Detailed Lesson Plan in Computer System Servicing Grade 12

Content Standard
The learners demonstrate an understanding of concepts and principles in maintaining and
repairing computer systems and networks.

Performance Standard
The learners shall be able to maintain and repair computer systems and networks based on
acceptable standards in computer’s software and hardware.

Learning Competencies
1.7 Check computer systems and networks for maintenance against job/ service order or
instructions and specifications. (TLE_IACSS9-12MRCN-IIa-e40)

I. Objectives
1. Define what is Computer System Specification.
2. Perform the different method of getting system’s specification.
3. Appreciate the importance of knowing the Computer Specifications in
business.

II. Subject Matter

 Content: Computer System Specifications
 Tools and Materials: Laptops, Desktops, Projector, Slide Presentations, Visual Aids.

The teacher will show images on the projector screen and the students will raise their
hands if they know the answer. Every correct answer will be awarded with points.

the subject matter “Computer Specifications”.
The teacher will ask questions to the students based on the short story narration.

The teacher will present the topic of the day and its objectives. The teacher will
discuss what is Computer System Specification.

The teacher will group the students into 3 groups. Each group will dramatize the
given scenarios.
