DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN MATHEMATICS II

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of (50) minutes discussion, grade 2 pupils are expected to;

a. read and interpret data in a given pictograph;


b. form scale representation of objects from the data collected;
c. makes pictographs using scale representation;
d. giving importance in cooperating with group mates.

A. Content Standard
Demonstrate understanding of the concepts of pictograph and simple
experimental statistics
B. Performance Standard
Is able to create and interpret representations of data(tally sheets and
pictograph) and apply experimental probability in mathematical problems and
real- life situations.
C. Learning Competencies
Is able to collect data on one variables using pictographs and interprets data
presented indifferent kinds of pictographs.M2ME-IV-30
D. Values Focus
Give importance in cooperating with group mates and show importance of
things that found in the environment.

PRACTICE SKILLS

but this time you have different amount
of apples in the store. This row will be
the group 1, next row will be the group
2 and the last row will be last group.
Read the instruction first.
Group 1 -135 apples
Group 2 –140 apples
Group 3 – 165 apples
That is the total amount of apples sold in
your store. Same name of apples and
divide the amount sold in different
apples.
