I was able to inform the students with the lesson that we have for the week.
Instructions were given to students so that they would be able to answer the activities
on the video lesson. They were also instructed to send their answers in the group with
their activity in the English subject. The teacher asked the students to send
screenshots of their answers so that he can monitor the students’ participation.

The principle of research of this lesson was based on the MELCS adjusted for the
Curriculum in the New Normal of Education during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Also, the
Principles in giving expanded definitions of terms were product of combined technical
knowledge from different valid sources such as dictionaries, online sources and other
reliable sources.

Upon giving instructions to students, using Filipino sometimes as a medium of


instruction is being used. This is to let the students understand the lesson and
instructions. Also, the submission of activities on the video lesson provided was even
communicated through Filipino.

The teacher shows verbal and non-verbal cues to the students especially in the video
lesson presented. This makes the learning more meaningful and effective since the
modality during the time of pandemic is Blended Learning.

In the second classroom observation, the teacher shows and exhibits the importance
of performing gestures that enhance the delivery of learning to the students.

It is important to always adhere with the safety and health protocols to the students
specifically in the time of Pandemic. Giving clear instructions make the students
disciplined during the duration of the lesson. Imposing such discipline gives directions
to the class.

Promoting respect inside the classroom sets the bar in the teaching-and-learning
process. It is a must that the teacher shows genuine care and respect. Especially

The participation of the whole class in the lessons presented is highly encouraged.
The group activity in the lesson presented is really evident. Learning interdependently
is such a best thing to do. For learning effectively means collaboratively.

Aside from the fact that learning collaboratively is a must in the delivery of the lesson,
learning independently especially during the time of Pandemic is one of the best
things to do. In the first lesson, learning at the comfort of their homes gives them the
opportunity to be responsible in understanding the lesson. Meanwhile when the
students are encouraged to participate, they are also encouraged to think on their
own.
