NOTE: All floats wiJI be judged in accordance with the criteria stated herein regardless of S1Ze.

• The float must be mounted on a motorized vehicle and elaborately decorated with
three-dimensional figures depicting a scene.
• The decorations may be made from paper, wood, flowers, or a variety of other
indigenous materials and LIGHTS.
• Strictly no gas-fueled lamps or sirrnlar lanterns and fireworks . The float must feature
a t a ~or a group of people, motionless figures or animated designs which depict
ycorporate vision, mission or advocacy in line with the theme:
"Connecting Communities Thru Culture and Faith ."
• A company mascot may either lead the parade or be on the float.
• Audio or sound system may be used to accompany the float.
• Performers (between 20-30 persons) may accompany the float to add color and fun to
the parade.
• Each float must meet the requirements of the Committee regarding maximum overall
dimensions, travel speed, safety systems, and relevant concerns.

Parade Routes:

T~e parade route will be along Benigno Aquino Avenue up to a designated area for the static
display of floats. All floats must be parked along the main road of the Megaworld and must
remain in the area until midnight. Judges will be stationed along Benigno Aquino Avenue and at
the Megaworld Boulevard.

Assembly Time and Area: Assembly ti~T.:00 PM and the assembly area is ~lgado
Street (back of UP Visayas) all the way t~andoni Street.

Company products, brochures and pamphlets may be distributed along the parade route provided
the same will not result to commotion or disturbance or cause any physical harm to the public .
Expired products and harmful materials should not be distributed.

The order of the parade will be based on a.first come. first served basis; that is, based on the date
and time of registration. Each float is required to carry a placard showing its pre-assigned
number and the name of the company which must be prominently displayed at the front of the
vehicle.

Requirements for Participation
• Submission of registration form.
• The complete name, sex, age and address of the participants must be submitted to the
Committee on or before January 11 , 2019.
• The plate number and type of vehicle that will be used must be submitted to the
Committee on or before January 11 , 2019.
• SEC registration or Business Name Registration from DTI or any public document or
