PETITION

Solicitor General Francis D. Romulo, in behalf of the Republic of the Philippines, unto
this Honorable Court, respectfully avers that:

1. James John Reid, an American Citizen, and resident of 6 NYC Bldg., Ordonell St.,
Makati City, died intestate in the said city on January 1, 2015;
2. At the time of his death he left personal and real property in the city, to wit:
a. Condominium Unit (Unit No. 2123 with Parking Unit No. C-2123 located at 44th floor,
Ayala Triangle, Tower 1, Ayala Avenue, Makati City.
b. One (1) Macbook Air Laptop
c. One (1) Toyota Super Grandia van with plate number AAA 2001
d. He left no heir or personal and real property.

WHEREFORE, it is respectfully prayed that, upon due notice and hearing, and after
hearing, and after payment of his just debts and charges, the estate of the deceased
James John Reid be declared escheated in favor of the Government, in accordance with
law.
