Thank you, Ma’am Jobelle.

Good morning everyone, is my voice loud and

clear po?
Okay po, thank you!
Now, let us continue our discussion.
So first, po let me difine fabric muna, although
I know po that we already know kung ano ang
fabric. But before we proceed po sa different
types of Fabric and their application in
clothing, kailangan po ma-define muna po
natin ulit yung fabric.
So, fabric is a type of cloth or other material
na ginawa or ginagawa sa pamamagitan ng
weaving cotton, nylon, wool, silk, or iba pa
pong mga sinulid. Fabrics are used to make
garments, curtains, and sheets, at iba pang
bagay. A fabric is usually ipinangalan sa
After that ay
texture, and the manufacturing process na
ginamit. Some fabrics recognize ang
pinagmulan ng mga fiber.

So, let's move on to the different types of

fabric and their application in clothing.
The first one po is Chiffon, Chiffon is isang
manipis at lightweight plain-woven na tela na
may medyo manipis na coating that created
from twisted yarn. Then yung mga
karaniwang mga materials na yarn ay yung
silk, nylon, polyester, or rayon (reyon). Then,
due to its light, flowing material, chiffon is
karaniwang nakikita sa mga scarf, blouse,
and dress, especially sa bridal gowns and
prom dresses.

Then the next one po is Cotton, cotton is a

light, silky natural fabric that is known as the
world's most popular fabric. Then, alam
napakakomportable pong suotin. And it is
also hypoallergenic and yun nga mas
nakakahinga tayo ng maayos kapag cotton
yung damit na suot natin kahit na matagal
syang matuyo pag nalabhan. Then, cotton is
used in almost all types of clothing, including
shirts, skirts, dresses and underwear.

So, let’s move on to the third one, which is

Crepe (creyp), crepe is also a lightweight,
twisted plain-woven fabric na magaspang.
Other civilizations across the world ay
gumagamit ng iba't ibang uri ng crepe fabric
in their textile production, and in some cases,
and classic crepe fabric that has been woven
sa parehong paraan for thousands of years is
still used. Also, crepe fabric po is ginagamit
po sa mga suit and dressmaking because it is
malambot, comportable na suotin katulad ng
cotton, and it is easy to work with.
Then, another type of fabric is Denim, Denim
is isang pinagtagpi na cotton twill fabric na
binubuo ng cotton wrap yarn na pinagsama
with white cotton stuffing yarn. Kilala yung
comfortable to wear.
Yung denim is kadalasan yung kulay nya is
indigo to produce blue jeans, but it is also
used to make jackets and dresses.

Next one is Lace, lace is a delicate, attractive

fabric na binubuo ng naka-loop, twisted, or
knitted na sinulid. Lace was traditionally made
of silk and linen, pero ngayon po gawa na ito
sa cotton thread, wool, or synthetic fibers.
And eto po ay may two basic components:
yung design and yung ground fabric, which
binds the pattern together.
open-weave and pattern na parang web.
frequently used to accent or embellish
clothing, particularly wedding dresses and
veils, although it may also be seen in shirts
and nightgowns.

Then, next type of fabric po is Leather, so

leather po is one-of-a-kind fabric kasi alam
cows, crocodiles, pigs and lamb. Then, yung
process po sa paggawa ng leather is
nakadepende po sa balat ng hayop na
ginamit or gagamitin. Yung leather po is well-
known for being durable, wrinkle-resistant
and stylish. And meron pong isang uri ng
ay stretched outwards and rubbed to give a
smooth na texture. Ang leather and suede
dahil they keep the body warm in winter
season.

Next one po is Linen, yung linen naman po it

is one of humanity's oldest materials. Etong
halamang flax, which is stronger than cotton.
The flax threads are iniikot into yarn and
hinahalo sa iba pang mga fibers. Yung linen
Linen fabric po may be used to make apparel
such as suits, jackets, dresses, blouses, and
trousers, and linen is most commonly seen in
curtains, tablecloths, bedsheets, napkins, and
towels.
Next type of fabric po is Satin, yung satin
actually one of the three primary textile
weaves and nagagawa po ito kapag ang
bawat strand mahigpit na pinagtagpi. Yung
made from polyester, wool, and cotton. On
one side, yung satin is glossy, elegant, and
madulas, while on the other, it is matte.
Then yung satin po is used in evening and
wedding gowns or dresses, lingerie, corsets,
blouses, skirts, jackets, outerwear, and shoes
because to its silky, smooth texture and
lightweight nature.

from the cocoon of the silkworm, na maaaring
matagpuan or makita sa China, South Asia, and
Europe. Yung silk is ang pinaka-elegant na
fabric, ito is isa pang soft, magandang choice
na tela na may makinis texture at kumikintab
yung appearance. Yung silk is the most
hypoallergenic, matibay na natural na fabric
pero mahirap syang linisin and i-handle; diba po
maraming fabric weaves yung sumisikip or
humihigpit at nagke-curl kapag hinuhugasan or
nilalabhan, kaya it’s better po if hand wash
nalang po yung gawin natin sa silk. Tulad po ng
satin and lace, yung silk po is pricey din dahil
sa matagal and delicate yung process ng pag-
convert ng silk thread into yarn.
is mostly used din po in wedding and evening
gowns, shirts, suits, skirts, lingerie, ties and
scarves. Then may dalawang uri po ng silk
which are Shantung silk and Kashmir silk.

Another fabric po is Synthetics, so hindi po

tulad ng mga nabanggit na fabric, yung
synthetics po is really refer to various fabric
kinds, including nylon, polyester, and
spandex. Ang mga synthetic, hindi tulad ng
mga pinong tela, is hindi lumiliit at karaniwang
lumalaban sa mga mantsa na nakabatay sa
tubig.
So heres the three type of synthetics, the
nylon, polyester, and spandex. So, yung
nylon po is Nylon is isang polymer-based na
tela na ganap na gawa ng tao. Kilala ito sa
pagiging hardness, flexibility, and durability.
Then yung Polyester naman is a
petrochemical-based na gawa ng tao na
synthetic fiber and cloth. Etong Polyester na
ito is not breathable and does not absorb
liquids well, though it is matibay, strechtable,
and lumalaban sa mantsa. Instead, ito ay i-
dinesign to transport moisture out from the
body. Polyester is used to make the majority
of T-shirts, trousers, skirts, and sportswear.
Then another type ng synthetics ay ang
spandex, which is made of polyester, is
probably the most popular synthetic material.
elastane, which is kilala rin sa lightweight,
flexibility, at strenght nito.
at swimwear.

Then, another unique type of fabric is Velvet,

which has matanggal ng nauugnay sa royalty
tela.
Yung velvet pwede syang gawa mula sa
cotton, linen, cold, silk, nylon, o polyester,
giving it a versatile fabric that can be inelastic
or stretchy. Then, velvet is usually used sa
mga blouse, shirts, jackets, skirts, evening
attire, and outerwear.

Then, now let’s move on to the last different

type of fabrics which is Wool, this natural
ng sheep, goats, llamas, or alpacas. This type
of fabric can be woven or knitted. We all know
po diba na yung balahibo is sometimes
criticized for being hairy and scratchy, pero sa
katotohanan po is medyo Malaki po yung
naitutulong nito sa katawan natin kasi it keeps
the body warm and matibay at long-lasting. It
is also wrinkle-free and resistant to dust and
abrasion. Dahil it must be hand-washed or
And, most commonly seen in sweaters,
stockings, and gloves.
So, for the conclusion, “It's all about the
quality of the fabric, how soft it is and feeling
comfortable in what you're wearing.” by
Kellan Lutz.
So, kapag nagsusuot tayo ng damit or
comportable ba tayo kapag sinuot natin yun,
kasi diba When we feel comfortable and
confident, we are happy in general. Feeling
confident and joyful has an influence on our
personal lives. It might start from anything as
simple as how we dress and go about our
day. However, most of the time, ang pagde-
decide kung ano yung susuotin natin is
stressful and difficult: hindi natin alam kung
ano yung susuotin or paano suotin at gamitin,
and we surely worry about whether what
we're wearing is good for us. So, choose the
good quality of the fabric for us to be more
comfortable and better.

So, that’s all for our presentation, thank you

and Godbless us all.
