Project Description:
Anthem, Inc., is a provider of health insurance in the United States. It is the largest for-
profit managed health care company in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. As of 2018,
the company had approximately 40 million members.

Role/Responsibilities:
 I lead a shift with minimum of 5 members a day from offshore, assigning and
prioritizing the tasks/tickets to resources on daily basis and reviewing the results
 Coordinating the issue resolutions and deliverables’ status with onshore and
business
 Debugging of COBOL programs and analyzing the application modules to fix the
production defects raised thru JIRA defects/tasks.
 Use all type of SORT and other utilities in JCL to perform various data
manipulations on production/test datasets
 Taking care of monthly infra release maintenance (IPL) activities
 Promotion of emergency fixes thru Endeavor tool. Also work on schedule changes

Project Description:
South East Toyota is a distributing company of Toyota cars in South East region of
USA. The programs in this application are currently using Legasuite process to
communicate between the different interfaces and I worked on remediating this and replace
with MQ process.

Role/Responsibilities:
 Analyze the existing programs those are currently using Legasuite
 Prepare the detailed technical design document with the all the requirements for
migration to MQ.
 Coding the new components or making necessary code changes to existing modules
as per the design requirements for MQ conversion.
 Promoting the changes to DEV& QUAL (SYSTEM) environments thru Changeman.
 Performing all test efforts required in DEV environment to cover unit and regression
testing of the code changes & application (using EXPEDITOR).

Project: Machine To Machine Communications (M2M)

Project Description:
M2M is a machine to machine communication system which enables business
customers of Verizon (ex. Cars like Toyota, Ford) to provide their consumers with Verizon’s
internet/data plans to be used with their vehicles. A diagnostic device called WAM is
installed in the machines for this data access. Verizon initially charge the business customers
for the data usage provided to end-users (car owners) for some initial period (ex. 3 months),
after which if the consumer is interested to continue, he/she should subscribe to the
plans/features. For this subscription post their free trial period, Verizon will directly charge
the consumers instead of business customers.

Responsibilities:
 Analyze the user stories created by the business and assign them among the
resources.
 Prepare the detailed technical design document with the all the requirements for the
project.
 Coding the new components or making necessary code changes to existing modules
as per the design.
 Promoting the changes to DEV & QUAL (SYSTEM) environments thru Endeavor.
 Performing all test efforts required in DEV environment to cover unit and regression

CenturyTel acquired EMBARQ and Qwest, to form Century Link. Syntel is working on
performance improvement of Carrier Access billing systems (CABS and TOLL business
systems) and supporting Embarq/Qwest acquisition

Responsibilities:
 Have lead a team of 5 members from offshore, assigning and prioritizing the
tasks/tickets to resources on daily basis and reviewing the results
 Coordinating the issue resolutions and deliverables’ status with onshore and
clients

Project Description:
Financial Capture is the Module of Card Acceptance and Processing Network. It
involves the capture and processing of AMEX Card Holders transactions all over the world,
and handles billing the proprietary and network Card Holders and the Bank Issuers. The
transactions are identified whether they are local or foreign and appropriate Markup is
applied and billed accordingly.

EMEA FINCAP is for the Market Europe and Middle East Africa. This is designed to
handle Card member and Service Establishment billing for the market Europe and Middle
East Africa. It covers all the transactions captured in Europe (France, Denmark, Germany,
England, etc.) and Middle East Africa.

Responsibilities:

 Testing efforts to ensure correct billing of Card Members as well as Service

 Involved in a Level- I Project named RSS Third Rate which involved migration
from one application to another application
 Design activities for new code to be developed for applying third rate in EMEA
markets.
