VOLUNTEER TEACHER

To help our dear pupils to read, count and write properly, we, teachers __1___
conducted remedial reading in our remediation project dated March 1 – April 30, 2022.

I handled 6 pupils in this project. They are ANGELO,ACE JESSKEIL, DULAY , an outgoing
grade 3 pupil DE LEON,JOHN MARK MSRAH, MAKILING, an outgoing grade 3 pupil
DIAMLA,AKEEM, VALENZUELA , also an outgoing grade 3 pupil, GARTONES,JOHN ROLLAN,
GARCIA an outgoing grade 3 pupil, RIVERA,JHONCEN, GUMANGI, also an outgoing grade
3 pupil, SABINO,MARK ANGELO, ALDAY, an outgoing grade 3 pupil, BERNARDO,IVY GAIL,
CATIMBANG an outgoing grade 3 pupil, GERONIMO,AYANA LEI, MAURICIO an outgoing
grade 3 pupil, MEMORIA,KRISTALIA, an outgoing grade 3 pupil

As I had planned, I used our school, Gabaldon Central School as my learning hub
because it is much wider and more comfortable for us to study face to face. But because
of the increasing number of our covid cases, our local government declared limited F2F and
children should be limited to go outside. Because of this, I continue my remedial reading
through take home learning materials. Every sessions that i had, my pupils show
improvement specially Aakeem and Mark Angelo. He can read now read short story with
comprehension and can read simple English words and sentences. Ivy and Kristalia also
shows some improvement. they can now identify letters and their sound and can read simple
words and phrases. John Mark also improves a lot. He can now read words phrases and
short stories. As our reading remediation ends, I can say that this program is very helpful
especially to my pupils and parents as well. I, being a Grade 2 teacher felt an immeasurable
