Cargo Securement Truck Loading Checklist
Purpose
The purpose of this form is to:
Establishes a simplified APAC minimum requirement for cargo and load securement for road transport based
on global document HSE-GLB-En-100421
Provides guidelines for proper cargo/load securement
Ensure loads are secured and restrained in accordance with more stringent local regulations with suitably
inspected and approved securing equipment
Ensure loads are secured and restrained in accordance with more stringent Enterprise regulations with suitably
inspected and approved securing equipment
Scope
This document is applicable to personnel working at field locations or facilities supporting field operations
Supervisors
Plan for Load Securement Inspection and Load Securement System requirements
Ensure load securement inspections are completed as required
Ensure loads are secured properly and in accordance with the minimum requirements of this procedure
Comply with the requirements of the Load Securement and Load Securement System requirements and this
procedure
Perform load securement inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements and this procedure
Inspect components of the load securement system prior to using
Drivers are ultimately responsible to ensure the proper loading and securement of all cargo on their vehicle prior to
transport.

In some countries commercial drivers may be held legally responsible for securing their load and/or can lose their
commercial driver license/permit if proven to be negligent in securing their load

and ongoing maintenance of this procedure
