I. DESCRIPTION
This specification covers Bag in Box cartons for 200 g BIB Carton India for Flexi Laminate. This would be
used by Abbott Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. (India) and other AN approved contract packing facilities.
II. SPECIFICATIONS

Material FBB Board from JK mills (Grade - Tuffcote) or equivalent with aqueous
varnish, spot UV, embossing and silver foil stamping as per approved graphic
scheme and shade card

Dimensions, mm ± 1 Refer to drawing. 135 x 46 x 165 mm (L x W x H).
Style/design Rectangular carton with sliding crash lock at base, tuck in flap on top along
with a glued perforated tear flap. Refer to drawing.

Scuff proofness/rub test 150 rubs/strokes at 2 lb without appreciable dusting and print loss. No loss of
legibility of text matter.

Printing As per approved artwork and color scheme. Shades to match approved shade
card or shade reference as applicable.
Flap closing/sealing Cold glue - Fevicol BMW/Fevicol 2000
General - Material should be free from any foreign matter/particles.
- There should not be any solvent or off odors present in the cartons.
- All consignments should be accompanied by a CoA from the vendor.
III. LABELING/PACKAGING
Cartons to be bundled in numbers of 15/25/50 or as convenient, put in poly bags and transferred in
corrugated board boxes for transportation OR cartons can be bundled, put in corrugated boxes and stretch
wrapped.
All packed corrugated boxed to be labeled. Label to have the supplier name, item details, quantity and date
of production.

V. STORAGE
Material to be stored at temperatures below 30°C and humidity under 70% RH. The storage area should be
clean and dry. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
Dust and other foreign material must be kept out from settling on the materials.
VI. DRAWING
Any intended changes to material or grade are to be communicated to Abbott Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. (India) in
writing, by the supplier. The supplier shall give sufficient notice, to allow a thorough trial and approval
process as required to be completed at Abbott Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. (India). No changes shall be made to the
specification without prior written approval by Abbott Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. (India).
