TEACHER

A fire alarm sounds.

TEACHER (CONT’D)
Ok everyone, the fire is ringing.

BROWN
But Sir, I smell smoke from the other class.
ADAM
Oh my god! The other class is on
fire!

TEACHER
The sooner you guys quiet down and
get in order, the sooner we get to

what are you doing with your bag

CAULDWELL
I am keeping my things sir. My
parents will surely scold me if I
fail to bring my things home

TEACHER
Stop what are you doing now and

BROWN
But the smoke are coming through
the walls sir!

TEACHER

The corridor starts to get smokier.

TEACHER

instructions, we could leave here a

JESSICA

TEACHER

KYLE
I'm calling my mom to say goodbye.
TEACHER

Suddenly the black smoke started to vanish.

STUDENTS
Where are all the smokes?????

TEACHER
Congrats everyone.You guys FAILED in the fire
drill this time.The smoke that you guys saw was
just from a smoke generator.

Oh god we are doomed now.

TEACHER
So as you can see, fire drills are extremely
important especially for people within the
premises to ensure everyone is well prepared in
case of a fire. Not only that, it also helps
improve certain aspects of our fire provisions
that may save our lives one day. Therefore, as
your punishment for neglecting this practice,
write an essay on what you should and shouldn’t
do during a fire drill.

The kids started to lament and took this as a lesson to not

repeat this mistake again.
