I really question the comcept of the Veil. It doesn’t do much except ascribe a name to it
– doesn’t really talk about what is is, why it’s there, what function it serves, how it got
there, etc.

Everyone always gives the same advice – look at your emotions, the positive ones and the
negative ones. That is pretty useless advice, because I don’t recognize my emotions
while I am in them. When I am in the throes of fear, elation, anger, I assume that I have
insight and understanding, not that I am looking through emotioanlly colored lenses.
