the fruit of our hardwork: quality education for our learners. Let us remain true to our tagline, AYOS,

Muñoz, AYOS! Again, good day, and keep safe.
Rationale of the Project
The global breakout of the COVID-19 pandemic forced schools to shift towards distance learning.
And the Philippines was no exception. The nationwide lockdown and the health risks posed by the virus closed
the doors of the schools and caused prohibition of face-to-face instruction. For learning continuity to happen
amid the pandemic, the Department of Education immediately launched the Basic Education Learning
Continuity Plan (BE-LCP). BE-LCP primarily offers the various alternative distance learning modalities.
Consequently, DepEd Regional and Division offices rolled out the plans and various initiatives. To gather
baseline data for planning of programs, pilot testing and surveys were conducted.
Based on the Learner Enrollment and Survey Form last school year, (Show modality preference). With these
results, MNHS opted to use Printed modular Distance learning as the mode of instruction. But despite the
teachers’ efforts to reach students, the said modality posed various issues and concerns. Some of which are
the limited student engagement, student difficulty in understanding content, lack of teacher feedback, and
poor learner achievement on performance-based competencies. With this, we came up with the
AYOS@Muñoz Project.
General Objective: Provide digital learning resource for the enhancement of learning.
This is through crafting of video lessons which includes lectures and interactive activities to measure
understanding and performance. The said video lessons undergo series of editing and quality assurance before
uploading and sharing to students via private Facebook pages readily available, anytime anywhere. The video
lessons will then be archived both online and offline to serve as educational resources even for the next years
to come.
The following are the specific objectives of the project. AYOS@Muñoz project aims to
Specific objectives:
a. Increase learner engagement
b. Assist students in gaining deeper understanding of content
c. Boost learner achievement
d. Provide supplemental materials for lesson enhancement
e. Teachers’ upskilling and reskilling.
f. Practice the spirit of collaboration in the workplace.
With the AYOS@Muñoz Project, may AYOS na Pag-aaral sa Bagong Normal!
