I. OBJECTIVES:

At the end of 60-minutes lesson, the students should be able to:


a. define Cheerdance and familiarize the movements.
b. appreciate the value of Cheerdance in improving and maintaining health and fitness.
c. execute the basic positions and movements of Cheerdance.

II. SUBJECT MATTER:

A. Topic : Cheerdance
B. Sub-topics : Basic Motions (Arms and Feet Positions)
C. Materials : Power point presentation, Laptop, HDMI or AVG,
chalk, board, scientific calculator.
D. References :
Physical Education and Health, grade 10 (158-161)
E. Skills to be developed : listening skills, differentiation skills, observation skills
F. Values to be integrated : Cooperation, Teamwork, Collaboration

III. PROCEDURE:
A. Routinary Activities
1. Greetings

B. Motivation
Students will be asked by the teacher if they know the game Stack Attack. Students will perform
an activity entitled “STACK ATTACK”.

C. Presentation/Discussion
The teacher will start the discussion about the lesson using the motivation given to the
students. The students will execute the given motions of cheer dance. After the discussion, the
students will be grouped into 4 and perform all the basic arms and feet positions.

D. Generalization
The students will perform the basic arm and feet position in Cheer dance.

E. Application

Students will be asked on the different practices that they should apply in learning the
basic arm and feet positions in cheerdance?

F. Assessment
The teacher will show pictures of different arm and feet positions and the students
will identify each.

G. Assignment
In a ½ sheet of pad paper, write down the different hip hop movements with the proper execution.
