My trip to Switzerland

Last winter holiday I went to Switzerland with my parents by air.

On the plane, we watched movies and listened to music. It took us over
10 hours to get there.
In the morning we went to Titlis mountain, I felt so excited . We
climbed mountain by cable car when we reached the top of the mountain.
On the Titlis mountain, we saw a big ice cave which had blue ice . I think
it was wonderful. On the Titlis mountain we saw many snow mountains ,
some were big and tall ,others are small and short . They look fantastic.
Then we went to Luzern . On Luzern lake we saw an old bridge ,It
had a history of one hundred years . Next to the lake there were many
mountains. On the mountain there were four castles , which had so many
colors, such as green, red and white and so on. I think they were so
colorful and beautiful.
At noon we went to the lion monument . the lion monument is a
guard monument too, because the lion symbolizes the brave guard . we
took a lot of pictures in front of the monument.
In the afternoon we went to Geneva , we saw the UN head quarter.
In front of the UN head quarter ,there was a big chair , which had only
three legs , because one of the legs was blasted by a mine. Near the UN
head quarter there was an old house---- the Red cross, which had only
three floors, with a history of eighty years . Nearby the Red cross , it’s
world children foundation ,there stood a new blue building , which had
many floors . In Geneva we saw a Geneva lake, next to the lake it was a
flower clock ,but in winter you could see few flowers .Next to the
Geneva lake, the light in the house were on all the time , and they were so
brilliant. And there were many bronze statues , the bronze statues were
very lifelike and vivid . If you watch them from a distant place, they look
like real people . On the lake, there were many boats and an island in the
middle of it . In Geneva the envirovnment was cleaner than Beijing. The
air was more fresh ,because there are more cars in Beijing. The
streets in Geneva were quieter than Beijing, but the people in
Beijing was more friendly. The traffic in Beijing was more convenient,
but there are more traffic jams.
I also bought a lot of souvenirs ,such as a watch, bells, necklaces,
chocolates, and Swiss military knives and so on . I like the Swiss
military knives the most, because they are useful and nice. I always
remember that wonderful trip to Switzerland when I look at the knives.
I think I had a great time. I felt very happy and know many things in
Switzerland. I think my trip to Switzerland was so unforgettable that I
really want to go there again.
