Answer the following questions cogently but honestly.

1. How would you describe yourself?
I’m just an easy going individual. I am also a sociable person. I always wanted to be happy. Even with the trials of
life, I always choose to be happy. There is a saying, "Why waste your time in sadness when you can enjoy a life of
happiness?" In any event in life, I choose to be positive and happy. Life goes on.
2. What are the influences of family in your development as an individual?
The very me. During my childhood development stages, my family is responsible for shaping me and influencing
my values, skills, socialization, and security.
3. Think of the time when you felt you were your “true self”. What made you think you were truly who you are
during this time of your life?
I think it was when I was in my senior high school year. Well, we know that we are still young and still searching
for who we really are. The stage of identity vs. role confusion. It made me believe that I was being true to myself
because I was no longer unsure of myself at the time. I never have any doubts about myself, like what I should do
or what my role is in this world.
4. Following the question above, can you provide a time when you felt you were not living your “true self”? Why
did you have to live a life like that? Where did you do about it?
When I was still in junior high school, because, like I said, I'm still in the stage of identity vs. role confusion. I
didn't do anything. It is like that, and everything takes time.
5. What social pleasures help shape yourself? Would you have wanted it otherwise?
My personality was primarily formed by the social pressure of compliance. I desired to be unique and one-of-a-
kind. So, I chose to go to the beat through my own drum. I pushed myself not to be limited by the labels of others.
Because there is a lot of social pressure on success, I pushed myself to be the best I could be. Yes, I wanted it.
6. What aspects of your self do you think may be changed or you would like to change?
There is no aspect of ourselves that is not changing at this very instant. We are not static people. Change is already
in action; we only need to add intention to the changes. We can guide ourselves in the direction of our choosing.
