DISTRICT - GRANT OF EXEMPTION FROM THE OPERATION OF THE

PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 15 & 29 OF THE ANDHRA PRADESH

CHARITABLE AND HINDU RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS & ENDOWMENTS

ACT , 1987 (30/87 ).

ORDER :

In the circumstances reported by the Commissioner of Endowments in the reference read

above , Government after careful examination of the matter hereby grant exemption to Sri

Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple , Kuchipudi (V), Mowa (M ), Krishna district from the operation of
sections 15 & 29 of the A.P.C & H.R.I & Endowments Act 30/87 for a period of 5 years subject to the

following conditions :

1. The Committee members shall spend sufficient time for management of the temple and

take every steps to create facilities to all the devotees for free darshan and sevas , at pre
approved rates .

2. No Immovable or movable properties of the temple shall be sold , mortgaged or

exchanged under any circumstances .

3. The accounts of the temple shall be maintained transparently . Every income or

expenditure of above Rs.1,000 /- (above one thousand rupees ) shall be conducted through
bank operation only .

4. The Bank cheque operation shall be conducted jointly by two members of the committee .
5. The staff working in the temple shall be continued . The salaries shall always be below
30 % of the Assessable income of the temple . All salaries shall be paid through cheque
only , even to 4th class staff . The Archaka services Inam lands shall not be disturbed as

along as they render service .

6. All the properties of the choultry shall be entered in the section 43 register and all the
properties which were added subsequently shall also be entered in the section 43 (10 )
register from time to time , through the District Endowment officer (Dist Assistant
Commissioner for Endowment )
7. The Hindies shall be counted with the 3 days prior intimation to District Endowment officer
(Dist . Assistant Commissioner for Endowment ) and shall be counted in the presence of
public and shall be deposited in the temple Account on the same day of counting .
8. The Committee meeting shall be conducted at least once in three months and all the
accounts , records and activities of the temple shall be placed before the Committee for
scrutiny and to take appropriate decision .
9. The Temple's diamond , precious stone , gold , silver and other valuable ornaments shall
be appraised by the jewellery verification Officer of the Endowments Department and to be
kept in the locker of the temple for safe custody . The valuble vatu vaahanams , not
amenable to place on the bank locker , shall be preserved in the temple premises /
compound in the custody of the committee .
10. No agricultural lands or shops of the Choultry shall be give for lease or licence for more
than 3 years .
11. No fixed deposit of the Choultry (both surplus as well as Land Acquisition /sale /
compensation ) shall be enchased with out the prior approval of the Government .
12. The present day photos of the temple , jewellery shall be taken at the time of handing
over of the temple with Geo Location App Camera to assess the progress of the temple .
13. Budget shall be taken from the Deputy Commissioner , Endowments Department ,
Kakinada , every year in the month of February for the next financial year .
14. If any illegality / irregularities are noticed or any violation of above conditions are found or
affidavit promised conditions are violated , then the Commissioner of Endowments , A.P. ,
may initiate without any notice and Executive officer will also be appointed , as per the
circumstances .

The Commissioner of Endowments , Vijayawada shall take necessary further action in the
matter .

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 154 of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and
Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act 1987 , Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby grant
exemption to Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple , Kuchipudi (V), Movva (M ), Krishna district from the
operation of sections 15 & 29 of the A.P.C & H.R.I & Endowments Act 30/87 for a period of 5 years
subject to the conditions stipulated at para (1) above .
