Task 1
List of FRs:
1. The system must let available the schedule and the coverage of The Wimbledon
Tennis Tournament for television, press and fans.
2. The system must permit update players information by tournament officials.
3. The system must create draws by the director before the deadline the tournament start.
4. The system must indicate on time that courts are ready to the director for matches take
place.
5. The system must receive indications of tournament officials from International Tennis
Federation on time for the planning of the tournament.
6. The system must support information of medical staff for designation by the director
before which match.
7. The system must support information of caterers for designation by the director before
which match.
8. The system must support information of volunteer’s staff for designation by the
director before which match.
9. The system must receive scores of matches by chair umpires until the end of the
match.
10. The system must work with five separated draws.
11. The system must get results by tournament officials within 10 minutes or so of
matches finishing.
12. The system must receive scores of matches transmitted by tournament officials
through hand-held computers.
13. The Wimbledon Tennis Tournament Management System (WTTMS) must be
delivered in nine months.

Task 2
Problems and solutions
 They are a smaller tournament and they have run out of funding
 Very hard to get the results duplicated and distributed at the end of each day, and the
press people complain that they do not have their results until late in the day - If they
could get results within 10 minutes or so of the matches finishing, without having to
walk to the club house, which would be great
 Can you have the system done in nine months - I will have to do some further analysis
to get an idea of how long it will take to create the tournament management system.
