“ECS processing module: ECS made easy”

Step 1: Scan the ECS mandate form as per HO Digital banking department Branch Circular 114/253

Step 2: Save the scanned images (TIFF format in relevant folder)

Note: 1st Image: Color Black & White, Resolution 200, File type TIFF

{you have to scan just one format at the beginning (preferably TIFF) }

Step 3: Login to Omniscan Template using Branch MMS ID.

Step 4: Click on “Digital Banking Department-Create new Job”

Step 5: After filling up all the required details, click on Import from HDD. This will open a pop up window
that will allow you to select the scanned forms which we have already saved in Step 2.

Step 6: Select the TIFF file and click on open, the file will be imported to the DMS Template.

Now you will observe that the “Import from HDD” option will be disabled, to import the second file
you will have to click on Scan Option. Make sure that a scanner is connected to your system for the
second file which will be scanned in real time.

Step 7: Click on Scan option, the scanner pop-up will be displayed. Here you just have to select the Color
and file format, which will be accordingly to the first file which is already uploaded.

Ex: If you have uploaded TIFF + Black& White format first, your choices will be JPEG and Grayscale and
vice versa.

After following Step 7, scan the DMS mandate form once again.

Step 8: After uploading the documents, make sure to crop the uploaded files to just the borders of ECS
mandate.

Step 9: The Omniscan Template will display option as document type, here after importing both the
formats in DMS, you have to select document number. For front image, select TIFF file and for front
grayscale image select JPEG format.

Step 10: Click on Save, if there are no errors the file will be saved and then click on export.

“Note: Try and enter all the required information in Upper Case”

Now, if you want to check ECS Status, you can do it by logging into Omnidocs template using Branch
MMS ID. The path for checking ECS-NACH status is:

“Head Office>ECS-NACH Status>NACH-ECS Registration Status”
