INT. DAY/ SPACE HANGAR
MOTHER (V.O.)
Why’d you come back ?
A whole squad of scientists and engineers are gathering
around something, grasping all of their attention:
An ASTRONAUT in an impressive spacesuit - We cannot see his
face, for his tainted visor won’t less us peak through.
As the scientist all step aside, he stands, now ready to go.
MOTHER (V.O.)
I gave you what you wanted. What
you ALL sought after.
The ASTRONAUT stands by a metal gate. He hits the button.
The gate opens, revealing an impressive bridge leading to
the spaceship, dozens of feet above ground.

MOTHER (V.O.)
And I made YOU the one. Brought you
higher than you ever wondered...
Below, on ground level, a cheerful crowd suddenly bursts in
acclamations as the ASTRONAUT begins his last earthly walk
towards his vessel.
They revere him, admire his courage and boldness... And yet,
lots of them seem upset. As if they knew about some terrible
fate awaiting him...

MOTHER (V.O.)
...Asking only for one thing...
Now sitted inside the crowded cockpit, the ASTRONAUT takes a
deep breath, looks outside...
MOTHER (V.O.)
...That you’d never...
He grabs the throttle...

MOTHER (V.O.)
...Ever...
... And pushes it all the way.

The spaceship flies. Rises. Unbelievable speed, unbelievable

sights : outside the cockpit, it seems not only space, but
time itself is distorting, as if matter and spirit melted
together in bursts of color never meant for the human eye.

[.../...]
[SUITE] 2.

And suddenly, as the chaotic tumult seems to reach it’s

peak...
MOTHER (V.O.)
...Disturb my peace again.

... The Silence.

Pitch black. the vacuum of space, with only the ship, tiny
as ever, to break the monotony of this place and instant.

MOTHER (V.O.)
Why’d you come back ?
Suddenly, a flash of the brightest light engulfs de scene,
plunging the shuttle in a sea of blindness.

And on the mirroring visor of the ASTONAUT...

Is now reflecting the overwhelming image of a creature so
gracious you could die.
A creature the likes of those we’ve never seen.

Enormous, yet fragile. Docile, yet with eyes of

unquestionnable fiercenes; feral... but serene.
A primal entity.

The small shuttle silently floats in its direction.

As it reaches to its face, it stops. Cockpit opens...
And the ASTRONAUT gets out of the ship, now letting himself
float, bondless, towards the creature.

SON
Why...
He goes to removes his Helmet, slinding it in a depressuring
noise revealing the face of an old man. His face is fatigued
from life...
SON
... So I could be with you again...

... yet his eyes glow of the same cosmic light as the
entity’s.
SON
Mother.
