PRODUCT OR SERVICE DESCRIPTION

The Sweet Cocktail Company sells cocktail water that is different from the water sold
out there. To have a rich taste of fruit, we use fresh and fresh fruits imported from local
farmers such as strawberries, papaya, lychees, grapes, and more. This shows we do not use
fruits sold in cans to avoid the unsatisfactory taste. The sweet fat taste of our cocktail water is
sure to make customers always want to buy more and keep people looking for it. We also do
not use artificial coloring, instead, the color is born from a mixture of mixed fruits. People
nowadays have the awareness to drink and eat healthy food, therefore, our cocktail water is
perfect to drink with the whole family on afternoon tea or anytime. This cocktail water not
only has a refreshing effect but also has vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B9, vitamin E,
potassium, and calcium from milk which helps strengthen bones and is high in antioxidants.
Not only that, but our company also sells a variety of organic sweets and chocolates
which are free from sweeteners, artificial colors, artificial flavors, and other synthetic
materials that can be harmful to health. Our sweets are the best choice for people who crave
sweets but are made from organic ingredients.

4.0 MARKETING PLAN

A marketing plan may be part of an overall business plan. The marketing

plan is a highly detailed, heavily researched, and hopefully, well-written report
that many inside and possibly outside the organization will evaluate. In many
respects, the marketing plan is the most important document produced by
marketers as it not only helps to justify what has occurred in the past but is critical
for explaining where a company intends to go in the future. The marketing plan is
widely used by both large corporate marketing departments and by small start-up
companies. It is particularly important for marketers who seek funding for new
projects or to expand existing products or services.

4.1 Online marketing strategies

everything needed to acquire high ranking on search engine and
to attract more traffic. That's where search engine marketing
comes into the picture as a mix of SEO & PPC ads.

5.0 GROWTH PLAN

A growth plan is a granular, systematic record of ambitions for the business
future. It sets out business goals and targets, and clear strategies and tactics for
reaching them. A growth plan considers the current state of business including
strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. It is an action plan and schedule to
achieve the vision also creating a strategic plan as a key part of planning for growth.
Creating a growth plan takes time but it helps to keep growth effort on track and
ensures that the company expands in a targeted and organized way. A growth plan
covers a shorter period, typically 12 to 24 months is a contrast to a business plan
which focuses on a three to five-year timeframe.
The opportunity gap that we have identified is the cocktail business was
founded because they saw a great business opportunity to make a profit. This is
because there are so many fans of this type of food, and we also serve with a
delivery system that makes it easy for buyers. The business that we run is also not
done by many others, therefore, will be our few competitors in this business. In
bridging the gap of opportunities that exist, we need to know the problems faced by
society as they are too lazy to walk and buy. Apart from that, students studying
abroad will miss Malaysian food such as fruits that are available in Malaysia but not
available abroad such as dragon fruit, mango, rambutan, and so on. As a solution,
we created this online business to help the community who are not too busy with
their jobs and help those students who are outside Malaysia who miss Malaysia food
with this online business will facilitate the work of the community.
The customer segment chosen by the business is a niche market that is a
student and staff of UMK Jeli Campus. It will be the best seller because this Sweet
Cocktail is seen as rare because it is not something that is sold on campus. This
product has also been in high demand and is in trend nowadays. The closest place
for students to get the same product is from Jeli City Centre or Tanah Merah from
brands such as Air Balang Viral, Cool Blog, and Sweet Dessert Cafe which is 15
minutes away from UMK Jeli Campus. In addition to students, our target customers
are also staff from UMK Jeli Campus. Staff can buy it at lunchtime or at night online
or on campus. We also plan to further our business outside of the campus so that
more customers can try our product and expand our business to local people, the
public, and entrepreneurs. As we try to expand little by little and make our product
more popular so that will be more people know our business. The price of drinks is
affordable not only for the staff, local people, the public, and entrepreneurs but also
for students. It costs RM 5 for a regular cup and RM 7 for a larger cup. Only high-
quality ingredients are used to provide customers with the best quality drinks and get
their satisfaction. This Sweet Cocktail is easily prepared in a container to meet the
life schedule of our busy customers so that they can always grab it anywhere and
fast.

6.0 CONCLUSION

In conclusion, we know that starting up a business is not easy. This is

because many things we need to think about the needs and wants of customers,
identify the target market and market share, and find a strategic place to succeed in a
business. Next, we also need to calculate all the expenses like a marketing budget
and operational budget before we start a business. The most difficult part is the
financial plan because we need to determine the cash flow of every aspect, Pro-
forma balance sheet, and etc.

The cocktail is a self-made sweet drink in Malaysia. Cocktails can be made

with any ingredients based on our own favourite flavors and tastes. For instance,
there are people who like to put a lot of jelly, fresh fruits, and etc. By creating or
building this business, students and employees can enjoy this sweet drink without
buying or purchasing the ingredients individually.

By writing this business plan, we also need to calculate and analyse our
company financial ratios such as ratios, activity ratios, leverage ratios, and
profitability ratios. We also learned how to promote our products and analyse our
competitors in their strengths, weaknesses, opportunity, and threats. In financial plan
show that our company is making a profit from sales revenue, this means, this project
has been carried out well without any losses. In our growth plan, we hope we can
grow our business and compete healthily with other competitors with products that
are very similar to us. In connection with that, we are very confident and believe our
business venture will create and establish a very satisfactory investment.
