OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
- Define the rules of subject-verb agreement;
- Discuss the importance of subject-verb agreement; and
- Construct their own sentences using correct subject-verb agreement.

B. MOTIVATION
Before anything else, I would like you to
stand up and let's play a game called
The Hot Potato Game
The student will pass around the pen and
when the timer goes off or the music stops,
the person holding it has to do something.
(The teacher will show a flashcard and they’d
have to make a grammatically correct
sentence.)
C. LESSON PROPER
The subject must agree with the verb.

Instruction: Each group will write one
example for each rule assigned to them then
they will explain it and discuss the rule used
in the sentence.
