contamination. If the surface is very smooth we advise to roughen the surface by suitable method.
Wire brush or similar tools can be used for the same.

5.2 COVING
All the horizontal corner should be filled with 1:4 cement mortar by making coving of 20mm X 20mm
to help liquid applied waterproofing coating for achieving a continuous and seam less finish.

5.3 BORE PACKING

All existing PVC sleeves left in slab during concreting should be removed without fail. All the pipe inlets
and outlets should be packed tightly by using CENTRICRETE after sealing all the opening pipe
periphery. SWR pipe surface shall be roughened by applying solvent cement plus sand in advance by
the plumbing contractor.

5.4 APPLICATION OF CRYSTALINE COATING

MIXING: - Mixing ratio for Dichtament DS2 is 100 p.b.w. Powder to 26- 30 p.b.w. water, i.e. 6 to 6.5 kg

water is needed (as per consistency) per 30kg sack of Dichtament DS2. The liquid component should
be taken in a bucket and the powder component slowly mixed in using mechanical stirrer, until a lump
free, homogenous slurry is obtained. The mix can be applied with a trowel, brush or spray. Application
at temperature below +5°C and on frozen surface should be avoided. Slightly dampen the surface prior
to coating.

COATING -The Coating system should be applied when the surface is in moistened before applying the

system. Dichtament DS 2 Slurry needs to be applied by brush to the whole area to be treated. In the
crystalline based Coating the coverage of Dichtament DS 2 in two coats  will be 2.3 kg per sq. m .
