A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING OUR SINCERE GRATITUDE to the Organizers, Facilitators,

Resource Speakers and Participants of the 2021 Gender and Development held on November 24-26,
2021 at General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School, GMA, Cavite via StreamYard

WHEREAS, The State recognizes and guarantees the promotion of protecting women and
children from violence and/or threat, preventing and eliminating unlawful harassments in the
workplace, and promoting gender health advocacies in times of pandemic.

WHEREAS, existing laws take efforts to value and uphold the dignity of every individual- men,
women, children, employees, instruction or education and guarantee full respect for human
rights.

WHEREAS, maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle and getting vaccinated in this era of social
distancing is a must to promote a healthier body in times of pandemic.

WHEREAS, the Department of Education, as the largest bureaucracy of the government and its
instrumentalities promptly conducted relative trainings and workshops pertaining to the human
rights and active lifestyles to address the needs of the teachers, and to implement the said
changes in the field of academe;

WHEREAS, the Department of Education-Division of Cavite through General Mariano Alvarez

Technical High School immediately conducted similar trainings and seminars to reach out to
every teacher in every school to reorient and to renew their knowledge on violence against
women and children act, anti-sexual harassment policy and gender health advocacies.

WHEREAS, the teacher and employee participants who benefited from this commendable
endeavor would like to express their heartfelt felicitation for this meritorious milestone in
adherence to the very logical reason of total protection and upholding dignity in our workplace
and in the society.

BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the participants of this training will hereby advocate tenets and
principles to be an active exponent of change in our ever-changing society;

FINALLY, resolve that we are once again expressing our congratulatory greetings to all the
people behind this event, and we are sincerely hoping for similarly-themed activities in the
future.
