    Charles Darwin was a British naturalist born in 1809 who became famous for his theories of evolution and natural selection. He found that fossils of extinct animals in South America were similar to modern species. Throughout his life, Darwin was a reserved, thorough, hardworking scholar, though many people were strongly opposed to the idea of evolution because it conflicted with their religious beliefs. When Albert Einstein was young, his parents were concerned that he was "slow" and a terrible student who didn't want to regularly attend classes or take exams. Einstein's best-known work, the theory of relativity, was published in 1905, though unfortunately it was later used to create the atomic bomb.
