CPD/CEU information:
Please read the following pages for a detailed overview of the organizations that accredit our courses, what courses they offer
points for, and how many points they award for each course.

To obtain the CEU/CPD points, please ensure that you have watched all the videos and reviewed all content from
the respective course, as well as completed the final exam and the course evaluation. Requests for CEU/CPD points
are shared with the accrediting organizations on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Instructions on how to claim your CEU/CPD points can be found at the end of each course, after completing the
course evaluation and exam.

Our courses are accredited by the following organizations:


American Academy of Audiology (AAA)
AAA offers CEU/CPD points for the following courses:

• Getting Started with Person-Centered Care: 0.2 CEU


• Client Engagement and the Ida Motivation Tools: 0.2 CEU
• Living Well: Managing Hearing Loss in Daily Life: 0.1 CEU
• Tinnitus Management: 0.25 CEU
• Tele-Audiology: Person-Centered Care from Afar: 0.3 CEU

Audiology Australia
Audiology Australia offers CEU/CPD points for the following courses:

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
ASHA certified individuals are required to maintain records of their professional development activities. If an individual i s selected
for the maintenance audit, ASHA requires the certificate holder to s u b m i t to the ASHA National Office acopy of a certificate of
completion for each professional development activity completed. To obtain an Ida certificate of completion for a specific course,
please send an email to contact@idainstitute.com

Canadian Academy of Audiology
CAA does not store records of CEUs. Canadian Audiologists are required to keep their own records for 5
years of courses taken that earn CEUs. These will be required if a regulatory college does an audit and
requests proof of education credits. Please choose CAA from the accrediting form, at the end of the
course. If audited, please contact us for proof of course completion.
