In this year Fixed DA is calculated on the

basis of the range of Basic Pay where it lies.
Varible DA is calculated on the basis of
CLI (Cost of Living Index).Neutralization was
done on 269 points. Above it Rs. 1.30 will be
paid for each point. On 1. 1.77 CLI was 299.
Therefore points are 30.

In this year Fixed DA is calculated on the

basis of the range of Basic Pay where it lies.
Varible DA is calculated on the basis of
CLI (Cost of Living Index).Neutralization was
done on 320 points. Above it Rs. 1.30 will be
paid for each point. On 1. 5.80 CLI was 340.
Therefore points are 340-320 = 20.

In this year Fixed DA is calculated on the

basis of the range of Basic Pay where it lies.
Varible DA is calculated on the basis of
AICPI (All India Average Consumer Price Index).
Neutralization was done on 455 points. Above it

In this year Fixed DA is calculated on the

basis of the range of Basic Pay where it lies.
Varible DA is calculated on the basis of
AICPI (All India Average Consumer Price Index).
Neutralization was done on 672 points. Above it
Rs. 1.65 was to be paid for each point. On 1. 9.87
AICPI was 703 points. Therefore points are
703- 672 = 31.

From this year the concept of Fixed DA and

Variable DA changed to single DA and is
determined on the basis of AICPI.
Neutralization was done on 1099. Above this
point Rs. 2 will be paid for each point. On
1.1.92 the AICPI was 1183. Therefore points
are 1183-1099 = 84.

On the effective the date AICPI was 1762 points

and the neutralization was done on 1708 points.
And the DA to be determined was calculated on
3.2% of Basic Pay.
