VIRTUAL INSERVICE TRAINING (VIN-SET) PROPOSAL


January 31 – February 2,3,4, 2022

A. PROFILE OF THE PROGRAM COURSE

I. Title of the Program Course


This program / Course is entitled Virtual In-service Training (Vin-Set) for Mayor
Simplicio Manalo National High School Teachers for School Year 2021-2022.

II. Rationale
“Learning must continue”, our Dep-ed secretary Leonor B. Magtolis has said.
Teachers need to upgrade, to gain new knowledge and skills in the delivery of
learning as we embrace the new normal.
In this pandemic, the education sector is facing big challenges of coping-up, thus
training teachers has never been more imperative than now.
This Virtual In-service training is hoped to be one of the most promising avenues to
improvement of instructions which in our context is modular. This includes the goal
content, the training process and the context.

III. Program or Course Description


This four- day Virtual Inset program, as per the DepEd Memo, will commence with
the virtual training by the DepEd Office itself to be able to capacitate teachers in
using different online modality plat forms that include DepEd Learning Management
System and others, while at the same time they are allowing the conduct of School
Base and Blended Initiative Training with the proposal and approval of the Division
level.
Throughout the four -day Virtual Inset training the 25 teachers shall be registered
online and submitted MOV’s to ensure their focus attention to the training inputs.
They shall be accommodated through the zoom link and guided with the daily
program of the Vin-set prepared by the DepEd

IV. Professional Development Priorities


The Professional Development Priorities of Teachers considered here are
the Developmental plans stipulated in their IPCRF which highly include among
others.
1. For the Challenges and Intervention, we will use differentiated, developmentally
appropriate learning experiences to address learners’ gender, needs. Strength,
interests and experiences.
2. Planning, Managing and Implementing developmentally sequenced teaching and
learning process to meet curriculum requirements and varied teaching context.
3. Selecting, developing, organizing and using appropriate teaching and learning
resources, including ICT to address learning goals
V. Monitoring and Evaluation

Monitoring and evaluation is an essential component of every activity. The


preparation and the committee in-charge will ensure the smooth implementation
of the training. The outcome determines the possible solution and
recommendations that will improve the delivery of instruction to the learner.
Output and activity portfolios will be gathered by the process observer for
evaluation. Post training evaluation form through google apps will be used.
(See attached). After the training is completed, a narrative report and pictorials
will be submitted to the Schools Division office for the as mode of Verification

Mayor Simplicio Manalo National High school believes that the role of a teacher in school as it is
inevitably one of the most crucial variables in affecting students learning; both quantifiable and qualitative
development of a student. It is high time, that the administration through the help of DepEd implementation
will revisit, orient and train mentors to effectively implement and deliver the aforesaid role.
In this regard, we are asking permission from your good office to allow us to join our 25 faculty
members in Virtual Inset Program from January 31 to February 2,3,4, 2021.
