Hi Jonas,

I hope you are fine. I was very happy to get your letter after such a long
time. As you might know, recently I went to my favorite band’s concert. It
was so exciting. Fans were really obsessed, they shouted out loud. It seemed
like they were really into that movement. The musicians were very
impressing too. They sang their hearts out and truly brought the house
down. This concert was the best in my life.

I did loved the atmosphere there. It was just like a dream. The live music is
brilliant , there is no need to say that it is much better than just listening it
on the phone. To add more, I am so happy to see my favorite musicians on
the stage also I had a great time with my friends. Once again it turned that
they are the best. I hope to hear some news from you soon.

Best wishes,

Eva

I remember very vividly when the head-teacher was organizing the meeting
with other student school council. I believe it was the most boring event in
my whole life. Just try to imagine a few students pretending to be the most
important government members. They were making serious faces, trying to
be very witty. However, the main problem was that we all lacked creativity
and had nothing new to suggest. As a result, all the ideas mentioned were
more or less the same. Both groups presented events that were organized
by them, afterwards there was a discussion in order to organize joint event.
However, at the end there still was no consensus reached. As I mentioned
before there were two groups from two different schools discussing
nothing from the half of a day.

Tired Eyes

When we stay too close to the screens, we tend to stare more and not blink,
which has a cumulative effect on the eyes. We miss 2 – 3 blinks a minute,
which makes 120 – 180 missed blinks in a one-hour Zoom meeting. It can
cause a lot of discomfort in one’s eyes, burning redness, blurred vision, and
headaches. So, we should make a break every 20 minutes.

Coronavirus in Europe

European nations are now planning to loosen the restrictions. Italy will
reopen manufacturing on May 4, while Spain will allow outdoor family
activities and exercise around the same time. While Italy has already said
that schools will remain closed until September, children in France will
return to classrooms on May 11. Many countries are still keeping some
restrictions in their place because of fears of a second coronavirus outbreak.

Canada Gun Ban

The Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, announced an immediate

nationwide ban on assault-style firearms. The ban stops the purchase, sale,
transport, import, and use of military-grade weapons. Trudeau said that
these weapons were designed to kill the largest number of people in the
shortest amount of time, and there is no use and no place for such weapons
in Canada. There will be a two-year amnesty period to give gun owners
enough time to comply with the new rules. Also, the government will soon
introduce new laws to start a buy-back program for the banned firearms.
