such as numbers and the English alphabet. This initiative would encourage
children to learn more and attend school. Ignite the spark of learning in these
children, and they will be eternally grateful. Second, I’ll discuss the schools and
other government facilities with parents. Show them how education can change

3. Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte announced that school
uniforms are no longer required in schools. What do you think are the
implications of this order?
The current vice president and education secretary are enacting this strategy
primarily to help kids and parents cope with the “inflationary pressures” the nation
is currently experiencing. But there are some negative effects to this.
First off, it may be considered anti-poor to not require students to wear
school uniforms. In opposition to washing and wearing the same uniforms, which
saves money and laundry charges, parents will have to purchase extra clothing
for their kids. Second, because these uniforms serve as identify of one’s class,
teachers will have trouble recognizing their students. Additionally, there are
specific expectations for someone who wears a uniform. Third, it is irresponsible
policy implementation to not require school uniforms just for the purpose of
“inflationary pressures.”
The general public was undoubtedly caught off guard by this statement.
The driving institution, the DepEd, must take into account all predictable
circumstances once the policy is adopted given the ongoing discussion about it
on social media and other platforms. The general public and children attending
public schools will ultimately benefit from this reconfiguration. Additionally, it
serves as a reminder to the aforementioned state agency to always take into
account the ethos that must be created and fostered in addition to the goal of
delivering high-quality education and the development of human capital.
