1 Mark the Bag Front: Using a water soluble pen, mark the lines on the
Bag Front. See the blue lines on diagram (A). Use the 505 Spray to secure the
Thermolam to the back of the Bag Front.

Pin the ends of the Bag Front and Lining, right sides wrong side

and the Lining. Pin. (The Lining will extend 1" past
the Bag Front since the Bag Front is shorter than the stitch

3 Make the Bag Sleeve: (A) Press the edges of the Sleeve in ½", wrong sides together. Open.(B) Sew the long edge,
right sides together. (C) Press the ½" edges back into position. Turn right side out and press, centering the seam on
the back. Topstitch ⅛" and ¼" from the edge.
5 To make and attach the straps: Sew the
3–3”x WOF strips end to end to form one
long strip. Fold the long edges of the strips

Turn right side out. Center seam in the back & under one of the 1/4” edges. Trim to size.
press. Topstitch 1⁄8" & ¼" from both ends.
Spray the cotton belting with 505 Spray,
fold the edges together to cover the belting.

7 Fold the Bag in half, right sides together. Draw a line 2½" from the top of Bag.
Start stitching at this line, down the side of the Bag. Repeat on the other side.

Bag Front 8 Pinch the bottom of the Bag. Measure 2½" from points.
Stitch both ends. Trim ¼" from the stitching.

9 Make the Tie: Fold the 6"x WOF Tie in half right sides together. Stitch the ends and the side,
leaving an opening. Clip the corners. Turn right side out through the opening. Press. Stitch the
opening closed. Thread the Tie through the strap openings.
