We are having a wonderful holiday here in Gold Coast. Yesterday was great as we went to Movie World.
When we go up in the morning it looked like rain. After a while the clouds disappeared and it became a sunny

Last Friday, a friend of mine asked me to accompany him to buy a new shirt at a department store. We left
home at 03.00 p.m. by motorcycle. As soon as we arrived there, we went to the clothes section. I let him choose one.
An hour later, I got bored watching him confused in choosing a shirt. So I left him and went to the cassette counter.
Thirty minutes later, I went back to the clothes section but I couldn’t find him there. My cell phone was broken so I
couldn’t call him. I went to the parking area. I saw his motorcycle was there but I couldn’t find him. I waited for him
for a few moments then finally I gave up and decided to go home.
When I arrived home, my mother told me that my friend called. She said that he was in the department store
looking for me. My mother asked me to come back to the department store. Reluctantly, I walked to the department
store and you know what? When I arrived there his motorcycle was not in the parking area. He just went home. I was
very tired. There was no other choice, I had to walk home again. When I arrived home, I was so tired. I was very angry
but when I saw my friend’s broad smile greet me in front of the door, I just could not help laughing.

Messi was born in Rosario, Santa Fe Province, to parents Jorge Horacio Messi, a factory steel worker, and Celia
Maria Cuccit-tini, a part-time cleaner. His paternal family originates from the Italian city of Ancona, from which his
ancestor, Angelo Messi, immigrated to Argentina in 1883. He has two older brothers, Rodrigo and Matias, and a sister,
Maria Sol. At the age of five, Messi started playing football for Grabdoli, a local club coached by his father Jorge.
At the age of 11, Messi was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency. Local power house River Plate
showed interest in Messi's progress, but were not willing to pay for treatment for his condition, which cost $900 a
month. Carlos Rexach, the sporting director of FC Barcelona, was made aware of his talent as Messi and his father
were able to arrange a trial with the team. Rexach, with no other paper at hand, offered Messi a contract written on
paper napkin. Barcelona offered to pay Messi's medical bills on the condition that he moved to Spain.
At the age of 13, Messi and his father moved to Barcelona. In the new country Messi was offered the chance to
train soccer power house at FC Barcelona's youth academy, La Masia.
Although he was often homesick in his new country, Messi moved quickly through the junior system ranks, and
by the age of 16, he had made his first appearance for Barcelona. Messi put himself in the record book on May 1ST,
2005, as the youngest player to everyone score a goal for the fran-chise. That same year, he led Argentina to the title
in the under-20 World Cup, scoring on a pair of penalty kicks to proped the team over Nigeria.

AGUSTINUS ADISUCIPTO (1916-1947)
Born in Pungkursari, Salatiga, Cen-tral Java, Adisucipto was known as the founding father of the Indonesian Air
Force. He was the first Indonesian who flew the first Indonesian airplane. He was also the founder of the School of
Aviation, which later became the Air Force Academy.
A descendant of an empu who was one of Prince Diponegoro's troops, Adisucipto was predicted to have a short
life. Mbah Wiryo, Adisucipto's grandfather, said that his grandson was like Palgunadi, a courageous and honest
wayang character who dies young. That was why Adisucipto father insisted that his son go to School tot Opleidings
van Indische Arisen (STOVIA), a medical school for Indonesian during the Dutch Colonial period, and become a doctor.
How-ever, Adisucipto's determination to become a pilot was so strong that he dropped out of his medical school to
enter the aviation school.
At the Militaire Luchtvaart Opleidings, a school of aviation in Kalijati, West Java he showed an excellent record.
He could finish his study in 2 years and was also one of two Indonesians who got an advanced pilot li-cense. For his
excellent performance, Adisucipto was appointed secretary of the Kominklijk Nedarlands-Indische Luchtvaart
Maatschapij,The dutch aviation company.
After the proclamation of the Re-public of Indonesia, Adisucipto formed the Air Force together with
Suryadarma. Who later became the-first Commander of the Indonesian Air Force.

Ali was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1942. He was named Cassius Marcellus Clay. But later Ali changed his
name after joining the Nation of Islam. Muhammad Ali was known as an Olympic and World Champion boxer, who
also had a unique personality, based on self-belief and strong religious and political convictions. 
In the early 1980s Ali was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, by late 2005 it was reported that Ali’s condition
was notably worsening. Even he had a problem on his health condition, Muhammad Ali didn’t stop his career. He got
several achievements. Ali received a Spirit of America Award calling him the most recognized American in the world.
In 1996, he had the honour of lighting the flame at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia . In 1999, Ali was
crowned “Sportsman of the Century” by Sports Illustrated. He won the World Heavyweight boxing championship
three times and won the North American Boxing Federation championship as well as an Olympic gold medal. He
received the Presidential Medal of Freedom at a White House ceremony on November 9, 2005, and the prestigious
“Otto Hahn peace medal in Gold” of the United Nations Association of Germany (DGVN) in Berlin for his work with the
US civil rights movement and the United Nations (December 17, 2005).
Since he retired from boxing, Ali has devoted himself to humanitarian endeavors around the globe. He is a
devout Sunni Muslim, and travels the world over, lending his name and presence to hunger and poverty relief,
supporting education efforts of all kinds, promoting adoption and encouraging people to respect and better
understand one another. It is estimated that he has helped to provide more than 22 million meals to feed the hungry.
Ali travels, on average, more than 200 days per year.
Muhammad Ali died on 3 June 2016, from a respiratory illness, a condition that was complicated by Parkinson’s
disease.
