Brief report of debris recovery at Platform R-7A Dt:24.12.2021

On 23rd December 2021, whilst vessel engaged with BPI/MGR & Bracelet anode installation job at NLM-

1, Instruction was received from onboard ONGC rep to proceed to platform R-7A for recovery of Debris SC-01, SC-

03, SC-04, SC-07 & SC-08 mentioned in the Fugro field report # FR39/Sortie No:05 , Rev 0, Dated 16/12/2021.

Accordingly, Vessel pulled out from NLM-1 platform at 17:45hrs and arrived R-7A at 02:50hrs.

During the period from 18:25hrs to 22:00hrs, stopped voyage to R-7A platform and vessel time utilized for

material transfer with G.S Roopa (food box) followed by material transfer with PSV-1 (IMR cargo).

Upon arrival at R-7A location, completed DP setup and vessel positioned on east face of R-7A at debris location

SC-01 by 03:30hrs and commenced Sat dive operations.

Diver dropped down to seabed at (-) 50msw and located the Debris SC-01 at UTM coordinates (Wgs-84, Zone-43)

1994195N 222484E as mentioned in Fugro report. The distance from platform to debris SC-01 is calculated as

95m at 12° (NE Corner). Diver located 1 x debris(Bundle of lead weight for fishing net) in the SC-01 location and

recovered to vessel deck using tugger. Further diver carried out a circular search of 10m radius from the fix point

and no more debris found at SC-01 location. Details of the recovered debris from SC-01 is as given below.

Diver relocated Debris SC-03 at UTM coordinates (Wgs-84, Zone-43) 1994165 N 222503 E as mentioned in Fugro

report. The distance from platform to debris SC-03 is calculated as 74m at 32° (NE Corner). Diver located 2 x

debris in the SC-03 location and recovered to vessel deck using vessel tugger. Further diver carried out a circular

search of 10m radius from the fix point and no more debris found at SC-03 location. Details of the recovered

debris from SC-03 is as given below.

1. Bundle of lead weight for fishing net

2. Metal piece – 560mm x 150mm

Diver relocated Debris SC-08 at UTM coordinates (Wgs-84, Zone-43) 1994117 N 222404 E as mentioned in Fugro

report. The distance from platform to debris SC-08 is calculated as 35m at 295° (NW Corner). Diver located total

2 x debris in the SC-08 location and recovered to vessel deck using vessel tugger. Further diver carried out a

circular search of 10m radius from the fix point and no more debris found at SC-08 location. Details of the

recovered debris from SC-08 is as given below.

1. Scaffolding pipe : Length = 3800mm, Dia = 2”

2. Metallic grating : Length = 1940mm, Width = 820mm

Diver relocated Debris SC-07 at UTM coordinates (Wgs-84, Zone-43) 1994127 N 222502 E as mentioned in Fugro

report. The distance from platform to debris SC-07 is calculated as 45m at 57° (NE Corner). Diver located total 4 x

debris in the SC-07 location and recovered to vessel deck using vessel tugger. Further diver carried out a circular

search of 10m radius from the fix point and no more debris found at SC-07 location. Details of the recovered

debris from SC-07 is as given below.

1. Aluminum Ladder : Length = 3000mm

2. Plastic grating : Length = 2000mm, Width = 280mm
3. 1 x wire cutter
4. 1 x Cable tray : Length = 2500mm
Diver relocated Debris SC-04 at UTM coordinates (Wgs-84, Zone-43) 1994141 N 222489 E as mentioned in Fugro

report. The distance from platform to debris SC-04 is calculated as 46m at 33° (NE Corner). Diver located total 3 x

debris in the SC-04 location and recovered to vessel deck using vessel tugger. Further diver carried out a circular

search of 10m radius from the fix point and no more debris found at SC-04 location. Details of the recovered

debris from SC-04 is as given below.

1. Plastic grating : Length = 890mm, Width = 690mm

2. Scaffolding pipe : Length = 360mm, Dia = 2”
3. Metallic plate : 510mm x 150mm
Upon recovery of SC-01, SC-03, SC-04, SC-07 & SC-08 debris, Vessel relocated off R-7A by 11:10hrs and proceeded

to NLM-1 platform for BPI/MGR & Bracelet anode installation job.

Note :

1. Located SC-01, SC-03, SC-04, SC-07 & SC-08 debris on seabed and recovered to vessel deck

2. No other debris located in the coordinates of SC-01, SC-03, SC-04, SC-07 & SC-08 other than mentioned

above

3. Job completed as per scope of work.
