Directions: Answer the following questions.

Name 5 powerful verses on Prayer from the OT and 5 verses from the NT. As
a Pastor of a mission church, how do you apply the power of prayer by citing
practical applications of the verses you have selected?

Question No. 2: (20 points)

A prayerful church is a powerful church. Explain how this phenomenon takes
place with God. Who must be involved in prayer? How do they prepare their hearts
in praying fervently?

Question No. 3: (20 points)

What happens to a church who does not follow the biblical principle of
fasting? Is their an alternative way to this? What are the hindrances for a church why
their prayers are not granted by God. Cite examples and as a Pastor, how do you
encourage the brethren to be steadfast and continue praying for the church, for
loved ones, for the unsaved and saved alike and for the country in general.
