3. Call out ordinal numbers in random order. If pupils have the number you call out, they put X over it.
4. The first pupil to get all his/her numbers crosses out and shout Bingo! wins the game.

Activity 1:
a. Direct pupils’ attention to the picture. (SB pg 37)
b. Ask them to guess what they are doing.
c. Play CD track 54 and have pupils chorally repeat the exchange.
LESSON DEVELOPMENT
d. Show or elicit from pupils how to make the exchange more natural, e.g. by adding in expressions such as
Really? or a comment like Oh, that’s soon to show understanding.
e. They could also join the exchanges together to make them more interactive.
f. Give pupils models for language to ask for clarification.
g. Talk to pupils about the importance of such discourse skills using pupil-friendly language.
Activity 2:
a. Divide pupils into pairs.
b. Distribute task sheet to pupils.
c. Then, pupils take turns asking and answering questions and filling in the tables with the correct dates.

d. Ask some pupils to perform their dialogue to the class.
