To whom it may concern

My name is Taufiq Fadillah, Lc., M.A.. I have known Iga Arizka Tarigan for more than a year now, and
as a headmaster, I have been impressed with her ability to work well within our school. Iga is one of the
teachers in our school who has good pedagogical abilities because of this she is able to make the
classroom atmosphere positive and full of learning.

In terms of contribution, Iga has also been very initiative. She proposed and conducted enrichment
programs to improve the English of our students. The English day and English corners are two of her
projects that are successfully conducted at our school. Additionally, in March 2022, we chose her to be
the chairman of the committee for the Cambridge KET and PET examinations at school. She made the
schedule for intensive classes before students took the exam and coordinated with English teachers at
school regarding the technicalities of administering the exam. Beforehand, she also coordinated and met
with the Cambridge test envoys regarding the exam schedule, procedures, and the setup of the place that
we had to make to match the requirements that Cambridge set. Also, She coordinated with parents to
explain the implementation of the Cambridge exam and the benefits of taking this exam

In terms of characters, Iga has a very good leadership background since in her CV she was very active in
one of the universities’ organizations. Her organizational background made us choose her to be on the
steering committee of a series of Ramadan agendas for 20 days at school last year. She proposed 13
different activities that were conducted during Ramadan at our school in 2021. She also showed good
control over her team and always conducted evaluations every day to improve its implementation the next
day. It can be said, that this activity went smoothly and according to plan. Besides that, she never got a
red note from us regarding punctuality and diligence. She always arrives at school no later than 15
minutes before her class starts. It is not uncommon to find Iga at school until late afternoon because she
gives additional classes and teaches English for Olympiad at school. Regarding reliability and integrity, I
would say that she is an honest person. When she took her sick leave because she was sick for a week, she
confirmed her salary. She first thought that the finance staff had not cut hers. In fact, our finance staff
had. It shows a lot that Iga has positive characters and personalities.

To sum it up, I highly recommend Iga for this opportunity to get a kind and helpful aid from you by
joining the bridging course to help her prepare for her second degree. I believe she will be very promising
and benefit not only our school, but also our community here in North Sumatera.

Regards,

Taufiq Fadillah, Lc., M.A.
